I shot a Wilson 1911 in 9mm today. Pretty sweet but I guess I’m retarded because I still like shooting Glocks better.

Definitely retarded.
There's pretty much nothing I could think of from a defense point that would make me want a 1911 over a Glock, but if you don't think the 1911 shoots/feels better in every way than a Glock just lol.

pls respond
In Gold Dot the 124+P is the one. The 147 is acceptable though

This list is aging, and not being on the list doesn't necessarily mean it's not good to go, but if it is on the list, it is. The standard 147 Gold Dot is on it

TIL the Vortex Sparc AR is a 1 MOA per click adjustment. I didn't see any markings on the exterior indicating what it was (that's a mistake) so I dialed it in as if 1/2 MOA per click...lol sighting at 50 I went from aiming for the middle target but hitting the lower left to aiming for the middle target but hitting the top right. Searched it up on phone...1. Precision is definitely not a big thing with astigmatism and a 1MOA click adjustment red dot lol

I just stopped by on the way to other stuff and fired literally 50 rounds to zero the Sparc (only in $900 for the whole thing so far, that light was sitting around on a shelf) and proof it a bit. Trigger is typical mil-spec-ish which is to say pretty meh. Need to get back and do some close range drills since that's what it's for. With my astigmatism and that trigger just setting it on my range bag I was getting like 2" at 50 yards with factory SMK's for the last 10 rounds lol but that's me and my eyes trying to be precise with a dot (and there are no irons on it so I can't even use the rear sight to cut down on the comet tail spaghetti effect of the astigmatism)

This new one is the Sparc AR 2. It's basically the same thing, more like a version 1.2, the difference is 50,000 hours of battery life now. Comes with an Energizer lithium AAA. Pretty common and cheap battery (any AAA will do) and great battery life. Makes me wonder why it times out after 12 hours instead of constant on like Aimpoint

Definitely look up how to program it. There's a good youtube video here:

Program your channel list like this:

https://wiki.radioreference.com/inde..._channel_chart

I get a few local fire / EMS dispatches on my BF. In one case a repeater actually gets it here from ~30 miles away. Good for situational awareness but radios only work if you program them ahead of time.

The Geissele is better than the *** but they're both great triggers, and the *** costs much less. I have both the 2-stage and single stage MBTs - the 2S is fantastic. The single stage is a little underwhelming but a good ~$80 trigger.

Have you ever shot an ACT? It's basically a milspec trigger.

I have an ACT. It is exactly that, a basically grit free milspec trigger that is on the lighter end of the milspec pull weight range, it would be a small/marginal improvement.

I will probably wait on LaRue to fill the $80 MBT-2S order, I'm in no hurry and this one functions.

I also have a BCM PNT from an LBK that I have been sitting on as spare parts/future build I could try it is apparently pretty good but probably more like an ACT at best? Whatever. I'll just shoot my SSA's for awhile lol

I guess it's recently released and there isn't much out about it since it's pretty much the same thing just a lot better battery life. I have an original Sparc AR from, **** if I know, two years ago probably...they're basically identical. Obviously an MRO or an Aimpoint would be preferred but, this was on sale for $175 and I already have an H2 and a PRO on others
