That is what I use. I used to have Binance opened at work, but IT guys didn't like it as it runs some script where it brings in LOADS of traffic which is a red flag. So IT told me to stop going there on my work computer.

I'm already in. Waiting 3 hours for the competition to start. If I see down movement, I'm selling, else I wait for it to boom and take profits. IT's cool though, cause it got unaffected by BTC moving upwards. My investment was in WTC that dropped to 0.006 from 0.007. So I'm already winning

Then again, my binance coin is in btc right now. I'll wait until this btc run slows down and then I'm all in. Reps for life if this goes as planned. Competition lasts for a week? How long did the last coin pump for?

I may go a little ballsy and hold out for 50% gains. It's ATH was around 6500. I may shoot for 5500 and then cash. If it drops below 3800 I am pulling out.

I plan to put some more money in today. What do you recommend? BTC and hope it doesn’t dip? Or take advantage of the lower trending price of ETH and hold onto it for a while?

Yes competition lasts for a week. 2 previous competitions : Enjin and Yoyo.

- Yoyo pumped pretty hard
- Enjin dumped ( enjin was already at an ath though and has a lot of circulating supply)


This thing can go sideways honestly, but it's a good candidate for a pump, because:

Advantages:
- this time they're giving prizes up to a ranking of 100 people
- Volume doesn't matter, only buys do. If you sell, you lose points ( for the prices)
- It's almost at an all time low ( ICO price )
- Low circulating supply
- They're releasing their product tomorrow ( an app )

Disadvantages:
- Risky
- Not a popular coin ( 150 reddit subscribers )

This is definitely a gamble move from me

Honestly i don't like this rule i think it should only be taxed when everything is said and done and converted into fiat. The current rule takes way to much record keeping, and thats why i don't think its feasible for both investor and regulators. I don't think the us govt understands that majority of alt coins you need to use bitcoin or ethereum to buy. They just think everything is usd to bitcoin or ether.

I really wish BTC would just fuk off for 2-3 days so alts can recover a bit and I can actually participate instead of keeping myself from selling at a loss. 2018 better deliver on alt front or I'll be pissed

If the exchanges don't let you print out your transaction history in full or by date range then yolo.

I'll hire my business accountant to do the dirty work and figure the chit out for me.
I can't be fuked to do it myself, not like I'm profiting 10's of thousands of dollars.

If anything the IRS will owe me money for taking 28% of my pay every week.

In the 2-3 months I've been in the game, the only time alts rise is on a pump or when btc goes sideways. Either of which haven't lasted long.



Keep in mind guys, taking a loss (which a lot have recently) is a deduction if I'm not mistaken. But once you start claiming crypto, I'm sure they'll be looking for it in the following year.

Just sold all of Walton to sit in btc

I'll buy back into Walton at a later time. No point in holding for 3 months not accumulating BTC.

I really hate the conspiracy theories about tether but that green candle was timed suspiciously close to the new 20M USDT injection. Or has it become such a self-fulfilling prophecy that everyone just buys when they see new tether issued?
