I agree with what you say in principle but there is an almost unavoidable element of bragging inherent to threads like this. Your opinions and strategy when it comes to picking up women is pretty useless to others unless you can back it up with something. Psycho has provided his credentials several times, and while it's possible that it's because he's insecure and wants to brag it's also possible that he's just contributing to the thread. It's possible it's both. Doesn't really matter though, imo.

Furthermore, you can't say a person is either alpha or beta, it doesn't work like that. If you're successful with women then there's clearly an alpha element to your character compared to someone who doesn't get women. Insecurity on the other hand is more of a beta trait compared to a secure person, but it's not like the entirety of a person is either alpha or beta. It's all contextual.

I had a very good profile. I was getting 3-4 matches per 10 swipes. Selective swipes. Sometimes i'd get bamboozled by the myspace angles of peace, but for the most part it was pretty quality.

I got a new picture I wanted to try as a main during a boost, so I deleted/recreated. I did a boost and swiped a little more liberally just to see how the pic was doing. I must have swiped on any girl that wasnt obese or didnt have colored hair... so 80% or more.

Ended up with 3 or 4 matches. After 1000 swipes (hit the shadowban limit).

I am not exactly sure how the rating is stored, but it could be by device ID or by phone number, or FB, etc. I am assuming it's stored by FB ID (invisible to us).

Two of those chicks tried to meet up same day and I had to reel it in and abandon (No thanks Jeff). That's true but there's ways to brag while coming off well. I respect psycho for posting all the **** he does, it's entertaining, however to mask it as teaching I think is a bit inaccurate (the BRBmaking money post he linked from ages ago is a great example of how to post something informative, that's also bragging, but doesn't feel like it because you actually learned something). Like seemingly pretty much all of us posting here, Psychos game is just above the minimum.

As for the second part guess it depends how you define alpha or beta, and I feel a semantic discussion will be mostly unproductive. Simply, I reckon many of the things which I think qualify as "traditionally alpha" are actually weaknesses disguised.

It's definitely correct. I tested last night with my deleted/recreated account and a new phone/account/fb account/etc.

Same age ranges and distance, the recreated account saw a fraction of the accounts the new one did. The accounts that the recreated one saw were also of much lower quality, which means you were not swiping right as often.

The new account was seeing literally 2x as many accounts at a bare minimum and not to mention completely different people.

A female friend of mine also mentioned to me she saw the new account almost immediately. I was placed at the 'top' of her queue within minutes of the account going up. She never even saw the recreated account.
