Just bought some III+ armor plates on a whim for a sale posted on another board(think I got the last two or I'd share), recommend me a decent quality but budget friendly plate carrier for the likely will 99% sit in the closet, but may wear to the "range"(aka mountains) or a class here and there crowd. And go.

This is after they ran winch to a snatch block on a tree and dragged him up the hill to the turnout where he managed to get nose in.




He couldn't back up far enough to get his nose pointed down hill so they had to winch his rear axle and pull him up towards the wrecker. then unhooked and he decided to send it. Thought for sure he was going into ditch and then into brook

Just watched an interview with the bad ass who blew the bad guy in church's head out.
Took him ~5 seconds to dispatch threat and he said that included him having to wait aboit a second to get a clear shot due to congregation members in chaos.
He said they all had their eyes on him and knew something wasn't right about him since he walked into the church because he would never remove his left hand from his pocket as apparently he was just literally holding the shotgun inside his jacket with it the entire time.
Apparently he's a firearm instructor. He said he doesn't really teach to take a head shot but in this scenario it was the only clear shot he had and he felt comfortable taking the shot due to his training.
I'd post the video but it was from a local news station on FB and I dont know how to get that on here.

It's because of this. Expect other ammo manufacturers to start pumping out 5.7 ammo as well. If the price is good(sub $500) I think they'll sell a ton of them. I'm sure a ruger carbine in 5.7 would sell decent too. There's speculation that other companies are looking at making 5.7 handguns. Sig maybe? Keep an eye out for shot show

So I lied (close enough), not LaRue. I had a single stupid magazine in my order with the MBT-2S andthatis what was on backorder, not the trigger, I hit them up and they're sending the trigger now, scratch the mag.
