The asians are starting to wake up. BTC has picked back up and has a chance of closing over 8000 when we were hoping for 7800, 300 +/- b marketcap, earlier in the day.

Its 8 pm mountain time and the asians are starting to wake up and realize that bitcoin has been surging all day and are going to fomo in and keep the momentum upward.

Now we're probably going to close with btc over 8k and market cap over 320b

It's the weekend and the bears got what they want. I'd imagine we will see some slow gains tomorrow. I even bought some BNB after the close. But come Sunday afternoon be careful. Be very careful

did you miss the part where i said i lost 2 k? i assumed it was a bull trap after seeing the mad slide around 6 pm EST. had I held until literally this afternoon I'd be at only a 1k loss for the day ha.
I woke up this morning still breathing. Might as well take advantage of it.

USD is dropping regardless. I feel like we still need to read between the lines here. But any USD drop means crypto increase. We've known since this fall we would be cucked by the petro yuan so smart money would be in crypto.

Nah it's nice to know the asian bulls are still out there and they're returning to the game. They're back to boosting us instead of cucking us. You had more than enough time to purchase sub 7k btc mang.

I keep hearing that the Chinese gov is toying with the idea of once again devaluing the Yuan to minimize the impact from a trade war with the US. If any fiat currency action is going to impact the crypto world, it has to be that. And in my normie estimation, it will be for the gains in crypto.

China doesnt really have all that much they can hit back with in terms of tarriffs so this is the only real option they have, potentially increasing US trade deficit. They could also go the opposite way and unload US debt to the market, in the hopes of driving yields and interest rates up in the hopes the US would collapse, but thats a risky card to play cos itll increase the value of the yuan and theres no guarantee itll work (as opposed to yuan valuation increasing)

Bitcoin and crypto while in theory should increase in value over time, may not at this stage as it is still seen as an exotic asset. In tough times people would still go to gold as its the tried and tested, we've yet to see how btc goes in a financial collapse. Unless hyperinflation kicks in i dont see any changes to this in the near term.

The one wild card however is that because crypto is a fungible, easily accessible and transportable asset, it might completely surprise everyone as we're a digital civilisation, reliance on digital livelihoods is ever increasing.

Depends on risk tolerance I know some of the best guys always keep 50% in btc, others 30% and some go to 0 when the times right.

Coinbase. What a joke. It has to be somewhere around 2% for coinbase when you buy AND sell.
