Just read about someone trying to do a $2 million dollar buy on UniSwap for a $100 coin but only ended up with a few hundred because he got frontrun by bots. Essentially causing his buy price of that coin to be $10,000+ absolutely brutal.
Want to make everyone who is on that obscure "only offered on uniswap" token time aware of limit buys on 1inch. Amazing functionality that prevents getting hit by frontrun bots and allows you to set a limit-order which is awesome. Few things to keep in mind.
- it is a liquidity aggregator so it's pulling liquidity from uniswap, sushiswap, etc. so you have to be aware of the pairing you're trying to buy with. There likely isn't a huge pool of DAI/SAITAMA so if you set a limit order to buy SAITAMA with DAI at X price, and the price drops that low, your order won't get filled because there's no pool to give you Saitama for your $100,000 DAI order. With that said, you'll want to place your limit orders in WETH or USDT as those are usually the biggest pairing pools for obscure ****tokens without an exchange.
- secondly, it costs ETH just to make the limit order regardless if it gets filled or not. Will cost somewhere between $20 and $35 just to create the limit order, then you're going to get hit with whatever gas fee is required to perform the swap. That sounds schitty initially but if you're working with even just a $10,000 bag, that can mean huge savings simply being able to set a limit order at a retraced price that fills when you're sleep as opposed to having to bite the "prime time uniswap bullet" AND getting rawdogged by front running bots.
cheers.
and congrats on entropybro. he was riding that rendr train for a year or longer now. that's how you make the retarded gains, accumulating longterm while you wait for your (actually good) project to get its recognition.

Glad I recently bought some more CRO. Was a little hesitant on them last year around this time but with all the marketing and everything feels like they will become the #1 normie/hype based crypto. Wont be too long until obsidian card for me at this rate.
Kinda sucks as a US citizen how screwed we get with defi earning but oh well. Earning 14% on USDC sounds like the play for me eventually. Imagine 14% on 2 mil usdc and 12% on your $400k+ card stake, pretty comfy. Almost $1k a day CEO status

Unstaking my CRO stack today (and then having to wait 28days for the unlock) to prepare to take a position in a sub 20million market cap moon gem.
Will share once my schit is installed so you bastards don’t run the price up.
This whole CRO stash was purchased under .19cents so it wouldn’t be a bad time to take profits either since CRO will be working it’s way over $1 in aboutb28 days time. Probably won’t swap it though until New Years though so I can forego that tax reporting this year

I've mentioned this before but crypto.com marketing is in hyper drive.
I know there are a decent amount of cro brahs ITT. Their strategy strikes me as a bit concerning. They could become the front runners of an extremely lucrative financial system. Or they could crash and burn really hard. Like...the stereotypical business that bet everything on certain returns and if just one thing falls through it's **** hitting the fan time. I'm sure they have leveraged their entire business model on the marketing being enough to tied them over in the long run while taking some heavy Ls in the short run. Not trying to **** on the project, just an observation.

Can you give a run down on how staking works exactly? I have my 400USD staked and ruby card on the way but I can’t for the live of me see I’m actually gaining anything. It looks like for me to get the 12% I need the next card up? Also does anyone stake anything else on crypto.com? They have semi decent rates. I think my play for this year is to get the next card up ASAP and then slowly stake BTC/TUSD/CRO and then save 3500 for some degen BSC plays.

I would be weary of what crypto.com can withstand in terms of a sudden shock to the framework of how the US regulates the space. Even if it's short term right. Like what if congress does what the SEC is begging for which is broad authority to regulate digital currencies? What if the SEC comes out and says ok, every blockchain has to individually file papers with is us in order to determine if its a security? Halt on and off ramps until further notice...I don't think the company is setup to survive that.
It just seems like a highly risky business model. Even their ad slogan screams high risk. Again, not necessarily a criticism, just an observation.
And as I type this, I'm mulling over your point that it's profitable right now. How would you know that? It's not publicly traded so they don't release financial information. You're telling me that after all their marketing ventures, they are in the black?
