Well I can't answer for every 40+ woman, just myself. When I was online dating after my divorce and young guys were pursuing me, I never had sex on the first meet. It was basically just to see if there was any attraction there. Just because someone is cute in pics doesn't mean I'm going to be attracted to them IRL. And before people start saying I used them for dinner, I never did dinner meets.

I'd usually just meet guys out for a drink or a coffee. I always did a very casual meet for the first time because I learned from the first guy I met that just because you like their pic and like texting with them/talking on phone it doesn't mean you're going to like them or be attracted to them in person. I met from 20somethings up through my age. I was 45-46 at the time.

I've got a similar situation to OP...
