Heat had a bunch of wide open looks in game 1 and missed now in game 2 they made all of them.

Murray and MPJ chitting the bed

The reason why the Nuggets won against the Lakers was Murray Going crazy almost every game. Unfortunately he's kinda gone down to earth here,

Heat did a phenomenal job of shutting down Murray in any type of pick and roll action. Dude couldn't get anything going even though he made a couple of big threes late. MPJ looked tragic on defense and his shot wasn't falling either. Malone should've benched him sooner. Jokic, Braun and Brown were the only 3 nuggets playing with any sense of urgency

Credit to Miami for keeping it close through 3. Then Miami had that string of makes to start the 4th combined with a couple bone-headed Denver plays and it was just out of reach of the late Denver push. MPJ has looked like a scrub shooter this series. Game 1 he got a lot of open looks and just missed. It happens. Game 2 felt (to me) like he was forcing shots to try to get going. I thought Murray was OK with how much Miami was focusing on stopping him. Denver needed other players to step up. Miami shot the 3 really well, but a lot were wide open looks so maybe it's repeatable if Denver can't find a way to get out on shooters. Agree that MPJ was lost on D.

It all comes down to bench rotations.

Malone has no trust in his bench, while they have some really solid guys ready to produce - Thomas Bryant (who was really solid for the Lakers this season), Reggie Jackson (lots of good playoff experience), Deandre Jordon (old, but a big body who could have given Jokic some rest), Vlatko Cancar (38% 3pt shooter). Malone has not used them once, while Spoelstra is getting all the guys involved. He is only relying on Bruce Brown and Christian Braun - a rookie.

Nuggets will prob. win but if they lose, it will be in 7 and Malone will be blamed.

Thomas Bryant couldn't even guard the average miscer and the corpse of DJ is the worst player currently in the league. Seriously, DJ was absolutely washed 3 years ago on the Nets. Reggie Jackson probably does deserve some PT though

Nuggets brought their brooms onto the court today, Miami's looking a little dusty.

Butler is not driving to the rim at all. No explosiveness. Settling for jumpshots.

Dude almost averaged a triple double as a 6"11 center in the regular season. He currently is averaging a triple double in the postseason.
