If I was HODLing since I invested I would have lost almost 80% of my initial investment. The fact that I sold when I did and just watched the market chill a little bit cut me down to barely 35% lost to date. I get the sentiment about over trading be a chit stupid thing also IE most day traders don't beat the trends... but I invested at an awful time and holding would have cost me a fuk ton of money.
I woke up this morning still breathing. Might as well take advantage of it.

Nice, can I ask how long you've had your 401k?

I have a crypto portfolio and no IRA/401k's and was thinking about doing it soon. Not sure though.......

Here's the daily for ltc/$ (tether)

I'd say bull trap breakout and it went back down to close just at the upper resistance...not too sure about this one

15%. I've been 85% fiat for a while. Been using 15% to trade with and waiting for $6k with the rest. Tether up with what I trade with when I don't like it and trade with it when things look okay.

Did you miss the part where that massive red dildo dropped the price 25% in less than an hour?

LOL I just quickly checked my Binance balance and it's pretty much the same as yesterday and I have 6k XVG. Granted, 6k isn't that much but still... I would think I would have seen some sort of noticeable change one way or the other given how reactive the crypto market is.

It's down 18% in sats in the last 24 hrs. Not sure what chart you're looking at.

It is crazy how 99.9% of the time we sell the news. Pornhub is huge company. If I were smart I'd pick up some verge right now.

Idk if you serious, the better and more experienced you get at this you realise that there is a distinct pattern that ALL coins follow. That is nearly all Alt coins pump at a similar time of year 1/2 times. After they pump you should be selling back for BTC and rebuying alts when they are back at support on the 1 day charts. This strategy is so simple. Except NO ONE i know bar a few of the top twitter guys understand this pattern. I guess thats good as it keeps the money going into a few ppl onlys hands who realise whats happening.

Hold is ok for noobs who dont want to do research. And def a good suggestion.

Also Richard Heart is the biggest noob in this space, dont ever listen to what he has to say. He freaked out and was the most scared of anyone i have ever seen when btc was going tgo 6k, saying 'btcs dead blah blah the elite have killed it' he obv lost ALOT of money on bitmex during this period and nearly had a mental breakdown on twitter before i had to block the idiot.

And yeah Richard doesnt sell coins, he just creates scam ICOs without using his real name like the true scammer he is.

my crypto has a looong way to go before it beats the 401k, but from a long term perspective i think it will.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman launched an investigation into bitcoin exchanges today, his office announced. He’s looking into thirteen major exchanges, including Coinbase, Gemini Trust, and Bitfinex, requesting information on their operations and what measures they have in place to protect consumers.

Experienced dudes, Please explain sell walls? What does it mean, Does it mean prices will soon increase much more beyond the wall level or is there a huge dump thats about to happen?

This is what the nCash sell wall is looking like.

Intuitively it means that the price will likely dump since there’s big selling pressure. However, that indicator is so heavily manipulated it is essentially meaningless - don’t base your trading decisions on book walls. Utilize actual trade volume (cautiously) as an indicator instead.
