You can't be serious.

In the #metoo culture, you have to worry about being labeled as a "CREEP" if you approach someone and they don't like you. I see girls at the gym all the time with their hats on low and eyes always staring forward and headphones in. The most unapproachable women I see are always at the gym. This is coming from a decent looking dude who lands dates too so I'm not an autist. Guys talk and many are scared to approach women at the gym. It's the one place you go to workout and then you have to change gyms if you so much as even get partially labeled as creepy or forward.

Guys approach very attractive women at the gym all the time. Women often complain about it.

So it isn't that guys are too shy, it's that you aren't attractiveenough. Just like I'm not attractive enough on the apps.

Negative, it depends on if he's attractive enough and if he has to wave you down to take your headphones out, etc.

Dudes who go to the gym to workout don't want to get a label at the one place they can be masculine. The word "Creep" gets thrown around constantly for guys who approach at the gym and it's an instant game-changer if you're a guy and that label hits you.

Here's an idea: It's 2019, YOU approach the guy you find attractive? That way there's no creeper labels being thrown out and he can't get #metoo'd for approaching you.
