April: I'm ready to go.

Molli: April's my friend but, she's such a bragger.




Kula's shoulder continues to act up.



Doctor: Your bones look really bad for a 19-year-old.

Welp.

Doctor: If you don't stop what it is you are doing, you are going to deal with chronic problems like this for a long time as a 19-year-old.



Jen: I'm just trying to be cool with everyone as we have dinner.

Shut up bore whore.



Commercial Break

Nothing noteworthy to show.

Back to the show.

Here we go. Crunch time for the finale.



April: Mary is no negative.




Mary: Start the engine already.

April: You just need to chill.






I'm paying more attention to that poor grass instead of April's rambling on Mary.



Kula: I decided to keep going. If I can handle being out here for 6 weeks, I can surf with a bad shoulder for 10 more minutes.



Kula eats a banana.




April remarks how she isn't going to do well with small waves.



April, Kula and Mary head out to compete in a 3-way surfing competition. Last place of the three will get eliminated before the finals.

Time to sink or swim April.



Yeah, those waves are lame and put you into a dose.



April and Mary fail to catch a wave, too close from one another.





Mary has a nice curve but, Mary catches a nice drop.

Mary loses her footing immediately after and falls.



Kula takes a bad tumble.



April plunges after a bad miss of a wave.



Mary walks back and forth for her board and stays on.



April tries to maintain it but, plays safe on the smaller waves.

Kula: My shoulder hurts.



Yeah, Kula's starting to stink it up.





April and Kula try fighting for the same wave for the last 30 seconds and April has points deducted from her, because she knew Kula was down.

Kula: It's her fault. She's done it to me three times before in the past.

April: I'm frustrated.



April storms off like a pussy for what she did.

Commercial Break

Nothing really of note to say.

Back to the show.



April calls that Kula tried to DQ her and not the other way around.





Mary comes in 1st.

And April is eliminated for her DQ on the wave by the judges and she's eliminated before the Final 4.



Thank you for stating the obvious Molli.

April: I think they are jealous of my beauty. And that's why they ganged up on me. She's such a poor sport.

Jen: April ended up losing.

Mula: Payback's a bitch.



And April drives off immediately back home on a flight in a nice purple car.



It's down to four. Molli, Mary, Jen and Kula. End of the penultimate finale episode.

And with that it's worth noting that the finale is sadly missing in the YouTube recordings of the show. Shucks.

Jen ended up winning the whole season and Mary got a pity second runner-up status.

We are greeted to the classic static blue VHS rewind screen you would see back in the 2003 days and that's how the show concludes. The tape is over.

The all-girl group - The Donnas performed "Play My Game" the theme song to the show (that was shown only once in these recordings) to conclude it.

I'm thankful for the 2003 commercials intact. It made the whole show and premise of watching this from start to finish worthwhile and better.

So, yes Jen ended up prevailing over Kula, Molli and Mary.

Jen wins the whole show/season and comes in first place. Mary got a pity runner-up status from the show.

And I believe Jen and Mary competed in various surfing competitions after this show was produced around the world for a few years, for winning.

And I have no idea in general what any of these girls are up to in 2026.

And that's a wrap. That concludes the watch-through topic of the show.

It was a trip down memory lane and I'm definitely glad there wasn't a season 2 of this.

Things definitely would of gotten more antagonistic if there was a season 2 with a new crop of girls.

There were plans for a season 2 but...I imagine MTV wasn't really happy how this turned out (it wasn't a bad show at all) but, those are the breaks.

Closing Note To Surf Girls

Jen was honestly pretty boring, though to be fair, an all-female surfing reality show isn't exactly the best way to come off on camera.

And something like this will never be done again in our lifetime.

None of the girls I went to high school with would ever watch this show.

The girls I went to high school with have zero athleticism. Zero.

These girls surfing are top notch for at least working on the waves, better than any so called "female athletes" I went to school with.
