Of fucking COURSE we are going to be eating fresh corn on the cob.

A cob of corn every 4-7 days won't hurt anything. Especially if its only one of the VERY carbs you are eating
Ya I haven’t been eating much . Lately I’m not really hungry as usual, so for supper I’ve been doing protein shakes. I would like my mixed fruit in the shakes ,but they’re spiking my blood sugar so I said fk it and just have meat based protein powder with amino acids and skim milk .
Also throw in half a teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon , as it’s supposed to lower blood sugar .
It gets crazy when you have diabetes as you have to start reading labels . Faurk ,literally everything has added sugar and you have to do a lot of research

I’m off corn now though

hunger often kicks in when blood sugar is crashing from eating higher carbs/junk.

when it is stable, you don't really get hunger pangs. and even more so when you revert back to real food, and start just to see food as fuel. you naturally feel you've had enough, and if you keep yourself busy, 20 hours can easily go by (including sleeping), and you won't have realized you haven't eaten.

it's why it's often good to have a last meal quite late. 7pm, then by the time you've woken up, by noon you're already at 17hrs. throw in some steps. do that for a few months, and it's pretty hard to still be in the 240s. as long as you don't binge or hit up the booze which really slow things down

with the labels and added sugar, once you realize 90% of the stuff they sell in the store is a "food product" and not real food, it really narrows down the selection of what we should be eating

but now they are fking around with fruit and veg. bananas, cumcumbers that bend almost 90 degrees and dont snap/break naturally, watermelon that also bends like rubber. they are fking with everything so it just lasts longer on the shelf

Good call , as that’s 100% correct . It’s amazing when you eat the proper foods how all of the sudden your hunger pains go away

this doesn't really happen with low glycemic foods, or veg, dark greens or even potatoes

rice used to give me cravings after eating it, and to me its like a comfort food, so i dont really mess with it anymore as it isn't very filling. i could probably eat 700cals of it and still be peckish a while later. 1000 cals i would be stuffed, but then for that massive insulin spike will just make me feel sluggish and want to take a nap - kills the rest of the day when i want to be productive - isnt worth it. i never have that issue eating mostly cheese/some meat

wondering what i will eat tonight. possibly 6 hard boiled eggs + slice beef from yesterday, maybe some gherkins, tiny pickled onions, and a couple of slices of brie cheese.

or, buy a french stick bread, and make a long ass sandwich. not really sure

anyway brah, good to see you are fast approaching the 230s
