Dude I might get slammed for this, but…. and this only relates to the guys who want love

You will come across THE ONE in your life. If you haven't yet, just wait, you will. If she is, no one will come close to her in your mind, and I'm not talking about thinking you are in love with a porn star.

You will rate every other female by her (looks, attitude, personality, interaction with you, etc…). No one but her will measure up. If you can't say that about anyone, you prob haven't met her yet. When you do meet her, don't screw it up. Be real, go after her, respect her, and let her love on you too.

Can you imagine sharing good times with her when you aren't having sex? Then she might be the ONE. If not, its just your bonar talking. That's why I said, slim down on the things you concentrate on.

Don't be so busy keeping yourself busy with things that don't matter, that you miss her. Trust yourself. You will know. This is what I really believe.

I would limit myself to about 4 things: school, work (if applicable), important hobby, and some relationships (gf or buddies). Remember that people who don't have any drive to do anything are going to be the biggest drain on your time.

quit reading after "Dont spend so much money on liquor. I could have bought a brand new SUV by now"

I can agree with not spending money on liq due to how its bad for it, but so you can buy some fuking SUV is dumb as chit. Id much rather spend my money towards having a good time then driving around some "nice" suv.

Unless it pertains to a hobby of yours, save your money and dont blow it on cool cars. Spend it on experiences

I read all of it and the one that I need to get better at is the live paragraph. I've always been afraid of doing things, putting myself out there, and so on.

The one I'm struggling with is the ONE and love. I just got out of a serious year and a half relationship with a really good girl. In some ways there were some views we differed on that perhaps meant we weren't supposed to be together. But I took her for granted and didn't pay enough attention to my words and actions.

Not sayin I would have bought SUV, was trying to draw some context on value. That is all. May want to go back and read OP. But you don't have to of course.

Ahhh 1994…

Yeah, I was going to wear a condom, but I figured, "Hey, when am I going to be in Haiti again?"

I don't know the guy, but I've got two kidneys and he needs one, so I figured..

Now that I have kids, I feel a lot better having a gun in the house.

I thought about it, and even though it's over, I'm going to tell my wife about the afffair.

Help a brah out. I was with a girl for about a year, she ended up breaking it off bc she didn't know what she wanted (code for she wanted other guys). Things were great while we were together and i honestly didn't get over her until recently. When i moved away for school i drunk called her and she basically blew me off (obv something im not proud of).

It seems like she was the main one showing all the affection when we dated and i was in controll of the relationship and now im trying to show some affection but she's not having it.

Is it love or oneitis?

How do you deal with people who put you down?
How do you feel about stressing at high school for grades vs enjoying my time in highs chool before college.
Any tips with girls.

Prob oneitis.
Love is mutually respectful. If there is either one of you taking advantage, being controlling, or not able to be transparent, its not love. There is no fear in love.

ok I'm going to be a young whippersnapper and take issue with
devote oneself to a few things rather than going from one random hobby to the next and do what you love as a career.

Well, I for one do not know what I truly love to do, only that I like to do many things. I do hear that same advice a lot but I'm not sure it should apply until you are older. Here I am at 28 still searching for something I am passionate about doing. Also, many young people now are pressured into majoring in a single field they think they kindof like, just so they can get a job and make a living.

I feel like it's only when you are at least financially stable you can find out what you really want to do.

I used to get mad, but now I feel sorry for people who put me down; they're just doing it to make themselves seem something, I don't know, cool or big.

I think all grades are important, it sets a stage for how you approach the next level. Having a good time (temporary feels) is overrated. I'm not saying never do it, I'm saying its way overdone.

It depends on your goals for girls- sleep with as many as possible, or want to find The ONE? Not enough info.

That's fine. When you do find that thing, and you find extraneous garbage keeping you from it, then you will be at that point where a decision needs to be made. If nothing hits you like that, keep looking.

you make many good points, but at least one is totally invalid.

work is not meant to be loved - this is a diseased notion. work is meant to bring in money; if you are spending many hours working, you better be making money, which you use during your freetime to enjoy the thigns you love, wehter its spending time with a family in a nice clean place, traveling the world, picking up a hobby (doing something you love).

Never, ever make the goal of your job to be done because you like it. Have a job, make money, have a plan B to invest that money, this way you wont have to waste so much of your life working.
