What's wrong with lifting out of vanity? Most people probably started lifting for vanity reasons. What's wrong with people who continue with that as a motivator?

Phuck me a lot of you guys get rustled.

I suppose you are the autistic guys who just stare at everyone and are too afraid to ask to use a piece of equipment or are jealous of the guy not afraid to grunt.

People who hog chit for ages and don't let you work in and people who stand in front of the dumbell rack piss me off.

This basically those three things annoy me including the women that go there pretending to lift but only do a few sets of dumbell curls.

For the most part I don't really get riled up about people in the gym. If you're there working on bettering yourself, more power to you.

That being said, the ones that irk me the most are the ones with the inflated ego that think they run the place or are better than everyone else there.
Strong mind, strong body.

This is a strange question. Whether or not someone has done a 1RM, they stillhave one.

Furthermore, a person doesn't need to know their 1RM just to know that their 1RM islessthan 135. Here's how: they try to do 135 once, they can't. Therefore their max is less than 135.

Try hard wannabe powerlifters/SS/5x5ers who sit on the squat rack for an hour thinking they're cooling squatting their 185-275 for sets of 5 but look DYEL and don't even have big legs. Applies to taking up the bench too.

Groups of people who talk more than they actually work out

People that hog machines for 10+ minutes and don't want to work in

So people who use the squat rack to squat annoy you because their legs aren't big enough?

No, that's not what I said, you're taking me out of context. It annoys me when people take up the squat rack for an hour. It further annoys me when those people are taking 5+ minute breaks squatting low weight for low reps in their SBD knee sleeves, 13" belts, etc. thinking they're the **** and yet they don't even look like they lift. I just want to grab those people and explain how they can get stronger and bigger legs if they ditch their stupid routines and actually start lifting but instead I just shake my head and walk up to the nearest squat rack and squat their max for sets of 15

Half the dudes on there don't look like they lift according to the misc (I am sure everyone here just thinks I'm a fat dude for instance). I understand what you're saying, but not everyone has the same goals.

Get a drink of water or use the bathroom and someone is using my machine/takes a plate. How do you not see my **** sitting right there? You know someone was using it.

People that smell like ****.

People that don't clean their sweat.

People that use a bench or machine like it's there ****ing table to keep their **** on/just sit there talking.

and doughnuts are an ideal post-workout carb source. I prefer dextrose because it's not as sweet, but they will do the exact same thing in your body.

Here's a tip: nobody cares how much you can squat and it doesn't make you better than anyone else in the gym trying to improve themselves

- People who bish when you DL. It's a gym, not a fukkin library. (I DL at home now, only go to a gym 2x a week, and just for heavy squat and bench cause I need a spot.)

- People who put different plates over each other on the same plate holder thing. I fukkin hate that chit. Another thing I don't have to worry about at the home gym.

And I take up the squat rack for a long ass time on a heavy day. Hue hue hue. Yall mad?

I do this also. I need at least 5 minutes before my next set especially if it's 5's or less.

lol. can confirm, home gym crew so no worries or hate against people. also, not understanding the extreme hate towards nekkid guys in the locker room. its a fukken locker room. ur supposed to be nekkid. thats what is there for. i get its prolly pretty gross, but just imagine all the guys that fap or wash their dick in the showers then go into the gym and pick up barbells and dumbells. just think about all the dick youve prolly touched inadvertently while working out. but ur still perfectly fine with exposing yourself to it for an about an hour or more (inadvertently touching penises and penis germs on the handles). just gonna let that sink in.

People who constantly stare at you. Ffs cant even lift in peace when your trying to do something at least 1 person is staring.
People need to mind their own business

also when your about to go do something, that equipment is already taken so you gotta wait otherwise it ruins your program
