Secondly, biochemistry in terms of medicine is remedial at best because for the most part, doctors don't really know much about how prescripted drugs affect their patients... Mostly because every time a new drug comes out using biopharmecuetics that most doctors have no idea how it's made, it is usually pitched to them via a sales rep.
Third, define "physical" chemistry? Since General pretty much covers all inorganic unless you're going to get a masters or a Ph.D. in it.
Finally, the rest of what you are talking about are engineering classes. Which make absolutely no sense to take these in conjunction with science based classes.... Since not only are you forcing kids to have to devote more than 16 hours a week to studying for this crap (which won't happen and your kid is going to flunk) you're also going to ensure they can't learn a damn thing because they're going to be overloaded with information.

My point is dumbasses, you can't be a scientist/engineer/mathematician... You're going to have to specialize or else you're gonna be the jack of all degrees that is working at Starbucks because you don't have the necessary skill set to get a real job.

If you have a STEM degree it means you learned somethingobjective. It means you learned askillthat can be applied to the real world. Going to school to learn something subjective or based on a professor's interpretation is dumb.

This isn't a "trades vs stem" this is more of realities of working in the sciences from ACTUAL scientists vs. the fantasies of freshman who are probably going to change majors or flunk....

So is anyone going to talk chit and pretend like they know anything? Or are you all going to stick to talking about things you actually know from now on?

The hardest part of my day was doing a double Windsor knot tie. Feels good to be in the office chillin.
** 40% Aesthetics, 55% Autism crew**
Top 5 laundry detergents in the game (don't judge my opinion):
1.Tide (delivers a clean and fresh style of)
2.Oxi clean (attacks dry stains like a monster)
3.all (deserves a spot in the top 5 but not the best)
4.wisk (I respect the stain spectrum tech. But needs to fight harder for that top 3)
5.purex (up and coming in the game)

Still work in the AC, yet not surrounded by passive aggressive fat Linda's looking to report me to HR for sneezing the wrong way.
It's a happy medium.

Did the whole misc graduate same time and trying to figure out what to do now (trades, stem)
Is this why?
First we had Zyzz, then came the beta, alpha bs, then Tyrone, later Jamal, Chad and Mohammad joined and began cucking miscers. Later balding and now this?
Misc is a very interesting place

I think the wildly overstated incomes some people were making regarding a trades annual salary created the issue...then misc gonna misc and run it into the ground.
Also, as a PM that has managed over a hundred million in work...trades can make money for sure, but not near what some of these guys claim unless they are underwater welding or years in the union with great opportunities.
Trades have my respect though. The good guys are legit good at what they do.

-Threads before saying to go into a trade cause going to school for x amount of years sucks
-some trades brahs claimed to be making 150k+ a year (some were exaggerating, though some posted proof)
-stem brahs sour about life
