Maybe his method of delivery appeals to voters of lower IQ, and the content of his speeches appeals to higher IQ voters. The reason "why" he appeals to them is not unimportant.

An iq test doesn't necessarily describe how knowledgeable a person is rather how well they can learn new concepts and group things into similar categories, or that's how I would describe it anyway.

And btw there's people with differing views on many subjects, some much more important than politics, and many are not completely knowledgeable on what they argue for, the main problem I've been facing is it's hard to not be biased when you start listening to someone. I try to watch more liberal stuff but it just sounds strange to me most of the time, and completely contradicts most of what i already believe. It's very hard to tell what's the truth anymore, companies are more obsessed with money and views than they are with truth. And statistics are biased on both sides so who's better and who's worse?
