Getting caught up in the 9-5 corporate rat race. I wish I had gotten into e-commerce when the internet was getting popular early 90s.

Hmm to be honest I don't have any big regrets that come to mind, either they're small things (like seriously the guy above mentioned a life regret is not banging a girl when he was 14? Jesus) that aren't worth thinking about, or they are things that were just the natural way things had to go.
Like right now I'm 29 and have no career, but I did a ****load of travelling that I'd not swap for anything, and I have plans to study again and pursue one now. So to say I regret not having a career would be to say I regret everything else I did with my life, which I don't.
Same with Uni, I'd like to have a degree of more interest to me, but the degree I did is still useful and I met great people on my course that have become life long friends. So how can I regret that?
I think it just depends on your outlook... if you're happy with your life now then you shouldn't really have room for much regret, cause everything you did led you here.
On the other hand, things like wishing you spent more time with your grandparents, or wishing you'd focused on something when you're young... pretty much every person in the world with grandparents who have passed or who have developed no real talent are gonna regret those things. Pretty normal IMO.
Anyways, for me there's no real regrets that come to mind.

Pretty happy with everything in life except for being fat, and everything that results from it, though.

The summer after I graduated high school I ****ed up.
I loved the hike and it was a nice cool day so I decided to take my dog out to the mountains in the car. My neighbor had this giant container full of rocks in front of his drive way. No worries though, the car has a camera in the back so should be fine.
I forgot how it happened but I was so excited and while backing another car was approaching us and didnt even glimpse at the camera. Backed right into the ****ing container and jacked up the car real ****in bad. Got out of the car to check, when I saw it my heart stopped. I could barely breathe or think straight. Took the dog out of the car, drove around the block thinking wtf just happened trying to analyze the situation(was basically a hit and run) and came back home and parked the car into the driveway then just waited for my father to arrive. Never drove again since then since now im paranoid. The metal container didnt even have a scratch.
Went hiking like once after that and thats with getting a ride from someone. Just ruined the whole summer vibe and parents paid for it as well since insurance doesnt cover collision or some ****. Im only glad it wasnt another human or a car.

Working too hard. Literally 18/7.
Studying uni full time and working full time within the discipline I'm studying. Graduating with first class hons, and with 2 years of relevant experience.
Result?
- I think I've physically and mentally damaged myself (My uni friends say i always look stressed, and my work colleagues expressed some concern)
- Failing to get any job offers (or interviews) after 6 months of continual applications (in parallel to volunteering, full time work and study). Not sure why, but I'm reviewing. This hasn't exactly helped - given that other candidates in my position had jobs secured by now without question. This puts me down and makes me think yet again I'm not working hard enough. It's a vicious cycle.
All the sacrifice and I might just have to go back to Burger King at the end of the year - if they're willing to hire.

I don't regret in the sense that I'd want to take it back and do it over again, because in the end things have had their way of working out and bad things have turned into good things and so on..
But in terms of things I regret simply for the experiences, or the influences I had on others during that time, definitely my past drug addiction. Put my friends and family through so much chit, all because of some self-destructive escapism.
On the plus side, going through that and beating my addictions has pretty much led to most of the life-changing positive differences that have happened since then, like me meditating daily, working out, taking care of my health, starting a business etc. Still regret the fact that others had to suffer because of my own selfishness though.

1) Worked more when I could for more money, experience. Spent a whole year out of school and made like nothing.
2) Tried harder in school to get a better score, even though i got enough, I know I could have gotten way more than I got.
3) Had at least 4 girls i had a chance with and didnt even try anything. Now i dont even know any girls outside of work.
4) Wish i hadnt spent hours and hours on video games. I actually wish i got ps3 instead of xbox since everyone had ps3, but only like two pple had xbox. At least i could have made more friends that way.
5) I got lazy and still kind of am with my lifting. Still cant bench 100 for reps after nearly 3 years, but got it for a double a few months ago and maybe a single now. Would be way stronger if i implemented stuff i read about.
6) Way more, nothing catastrophic though overall

usually pretty private but here goes
-haven't talked to my sister in years, and that won't change ever. she was a chitty sibling during my childhood. my 2 brothers were amazing, but yeah she just isn't a good person. I guess that isn't a regret really though
-when I lived at home and made 50k/year for 2 years. I should have saved that money for something wise, instead of blowing it on trips and alcohol. ugh
-taking better care of my body, I have some back issues but as long as I have perfect form and stretch I am alright
-should have finished school. it wouldn't help me in my current career, but still wanna finish my 4 year someday

Not traveling the world as a nomad in my early 20's. It was literally my dream to just travel, and I'm 27 now with my career and I feel like it's gone forever. I get pretty depressed by it
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

I don't have any one major regret but:
Not spending more time with my friends growing up, partially my parents fault but still
Not being in better shape for high school sports. Phuked over my sports career
Not giving about 5 really cute girls a chance in middle school or high school bc they weren't my perfect match. This is probably my biggest regret as now I feel like I missed out and I struggle to connect with girls now.

Wasted the best years of my life away, couldn't help most if it actually. But still it sucks to look back and see a whole lot of emptyness while other people have done so much, fuark it hurts. Trying to catch up though I feel like my time is running out.

-Getting into drugs and alcohol at age 13. My life was pretty messed up especially late teens/early twenties. Somehow I ended up floating through school but feel I am not at my full potential right now.

Being with my second gf.
Wasted so much money and effort on her
I could have used that on a project I want to develope now and not work a job to save up for it.
You live and you learn tho.

Passing up an oppurtunity to get laid when I was 17, the girl told me that her folks were out of the house and she had the keys to the liquor cabinet...

Worrying more about drinking, partying and sloots more than school work in my early college years. Good thing I will be correcting that soon.
Not prioritizing diet when I first began lifting and when I was being an idiot in college.
Ruining my last relationship with an awesome girl bc I can't open up about my feelings to anyone for some reason. Never happening again

1) Not being there to stop my fiancee from getting in that car...it was my responsibility to get her home safely
2) Not being there earlier to try to stop my brother spiraling into alcoholism, instead I was too late
3) Military related crap- I should have just stayed in my band and played dive bars for beer money...Which also would have put me in a position to prevent 1 & 2.
It's best not to think about it

Not fighting harder for the relationship with my daughter (now 12), that I so long after now. I've been fighting lately and actually was speaking to her through social media earlier this year, but her mom found out and put a block on me. NC since then, despite me sending messages ever week. Going to hit up the court systems soon, just don't know that I'm prepared to admit my faults to the courts and mainly my daughter.....
thanks for the cry OP.It's my only true regret. Everything else in life is so small compared to these relationships. Guess I just thought she'd always be there.

Wasting my 20's in relationships / ****ing around with women instead of working on my career+money
We have enslaved the rest of the animal creation, and have treated our distant cousins in fur and feathers so badly that beyond doubt, if they were able to formulate a religion, they would depict the Devil in human form.

- Didn't get into lifting sooner so I was an awkward FA skinny beta follower in high school and everybody knew it. (Things have vastly changed)
- Never got into drinking or partying to the point where now I judge everybody who does it so I can't make friends my age. (All my friends are 25+)
- Broke up with my first girlfriend of two years because my mum didn't like her (lmao) She passed away a few months ago though so kind of dodged a bullet in a way. But still so much I could have experienced.
- Went to work 6 days a week at 17 to help my parents out of debt. Before I knew it I was 22 before the debt was finally paid and I still don't have a degree. Playing catch up big time.
- Didn't have the discipline to work full time and study full time at the same time. A lot of other people do it but I just couldn't focus on study at night, was so burnt out.
- I regret not moving out at 18 and living my own life. Let myself be bogged down with my parents debt instead of cutting ties and not having to deal with my families chit
- Even as I'm typing this my dad and brother are fighting and sounds like a fist fight. Need to get out of this fkn house.

Not keeping in touch with my dad as much as I should have. (When parents split he went back to his home country and we moved to UK). Of course only realise that now when he is gone... Biggest regret by a country mile. He was an ass hole, no question about that, but he was still a dad...
Getting in a long time relationship in my late teens. Not necessarily regret it as I have learned from it, but still.. feels like time wasted and I'm never getting back those years. (Not that I'm that old but still).
