I was agreeing with you ftr. Your first reply is the attitude I have in life and have had for a few years now. I've also made solid progress. Went from fa virgin to at least some success. Went from socially awkward ******* who shivered in fear of running out of things to talk about to a guy most people say is funny. Went from a guy who had no confidence and one who allowed people to walk over him to a guy who carries himself with pride. I've lost all my old "friends" too because they were unhappy with me not being a vagina anymore. I went from a guy who had a 52 average in all of high school to a guy who's doing decently in university. May not seem like a big deal but for me relative to where I was and how close I was to dropping out of highschool it is kinda a big deal. Without the attitude you prescribe - which is also synonymous with the red pill community's attitude (I don't go there anymore) I highly doubt I would have made the progress I have made.

On the other hand, I just don't think everything has to be so black and white. That's where our issue is. Some people are born in average households and some people are born in above-average households. People who are born in abusive poverty hell-holes are kinda phucccked until unless they get lucky or manage to run into the right people. Just because we need to have a black and white simplistic attitude to make changes in our lives and have to take responsibility for our actions whether it's our fault or not doesn't mean we can't have a little empathy for others who may not reach the same conclusions.

Why would a guy who was mauled for 16 years of his life blame himself for that? I ran into the right people. This one guy explained it as: "when you play a cards game, do you get mad and throw a hissy fit when you get a poverty deck or do you work with what you have?" That's how I view everything in my past.All I am saying is that not everyone is fortunate enough to find the right mentors and have gone through some horrendous chit. As a guy that was locked for 16 years in his life, I can understand how a guy can have autist level social skills, be an AFC (average frustrated chump), and feel the world is a trap and not realise what has to be done to overcome and what sort of attitude is needed. I empathise with said guy at times especially if he's working to improve his life but still not getting anywhere because of how far behind he has started from. I think it's unfair to tell him everything he's gone through is his own fault.
