OP here's where your argument falls apart: Most people in first world countries have been to a gym multiple times and have made a commitment to improve their physique. Based on my experience 50% of gym goers are seriously dyel - not misc defintion of dyel, actual dyel. Most of these people don't come consistently for even a month. Just look at how crowded the gym is at New Year's. Observe 2 weeks later.

This suggests that:

1. People do want aesthetic physiques.
2. They don't have the discipline to go to the gym.
3. If they didn't want an aesthetic physique they wouldn't have gone to the gym in the first place and talk about how they're getting "so jacked" this year.
4. They cope by hating on everyone with the same goals as them but more discipline.

5. You're a pretty boy who's insecure. It pisses you off that there are other ways of improving your life and getting what you want besides being a pretty boy. It pisses you off that not everything is just about you. I'm a pretty boy too but I don't hate on everyone who's trying to make it. I also understand the importance of face. I walk into Tim Hortons and ask for a small iced capp and they give me a medium. I randomly get asked if I'm looking for a job in restaurants. If I'm a dollar short they'll often let it go. My optometrist told me that women feel insecure around guys like me. I've never failed a job interview. I get different treatment often just for existing. I know what it's like. Unlike you though, I don't hate on everyone else trying to work with what they have though and creating a better them.

Some of those things may apply to some people. But if you are already a "normal" person with an attractive face & personality, lifting can only improve you. I have gotten lots of women over the years either way. But the more jacked I get, the easier it is and the more I get hitting on me. I can go to any bar currently and women just start coming up to me and hitting on me, 7/10+. Granted I do have a very attractive face and really nice hair, but I had those things prior to lifting and it just wasn't this easy. I agree though that many people at the gym are very strange looking people or seem quite autistic and never seem to make any real gains. For those people, this may apply in some way.

And the guy I was replying to said his BF was at 18%, fat man status.

Most lifters I see are high BF thinking they're swole until the 130lbs tall guy with the model face and 10% bf steals their girl

lmao I get nothing but respect with my physique and I'm not even that big (just tall.) I also have a ton of friends and a very active sex life, despite what OP would think. I also have some extremely handsome friends (no homo) with jacked physiques and they slay with zero effort. One friend in particular matches with any girl he swipes right on. OP it really sounds like you're projecting...

When I first started, lifting worked against me, because I let it control 100% of my life. If I didn't get 8 hours of sleep or my protein every 3 hours, I swore I felt myself getting smaller. It wasn't fun or healthy, and it took a psychological toll.

Decided to keep lifting, but maintain an otherwise "normal life".

Works great, and 10 years later, I'm still lean at over 200lbs. Lifting should be fun.

Yeah looking like a stud athlete is laughable.

Who wants instant respect from peers and women day dreaming over you.

Bodybuilding is a joke, but lifting as a hobby and getting ripped will lead you to a new life..... IF you have the dedication to see it through.

So many gym goers these days, but very few are anywhere near 3 years + of dedication.
The future will come by itself, progress will not

It requires zero effort compared to real sports, and any subhuman can get "good" at it with a tiny bit of willpower, and I mean very tiny. While the normal well adjusted well liked social guy was playing soccer and basketball and slaying pussy, the recessed chin lanklet or manlet with the weird ears, temporal recession and peanut head shape were counting macros, squating at 6 in the morning and sleeping 11 hours to get people to notice them. It panned out the opposite, people notice them but not positively.

Most lifters I see are the following:

>Weirdos/aspie
>Lanklet/Framecels
>Ethniks with broken english
>Manlet
>Ugly
>Bullied introvert
>Baldcels

Bodybuilding would be cool if it wasn't an anti-social sport built around drugs populated by dregs of society with deep underlining conditions and complexes. People look down on it because they know darn well the type of people it attracts, pariahs and subhumans. And no it is not jealousy they feel when they see someone whos jacked, it's a strange mix of both pity and awkwardness thinking about the amount of years some ugly weird kid spent to get people to notice them

If you lift srsly you've already lost at life srs. I lift a couple times a week but mostly do sports and cardio. i do it because i enjoy it, not to compensate or get ppl to mire

Guys like this with roidcel physiques are 90% of gymgoers I see. chit aesthetics and bone structure drew them to lifting to escape it, but 4 cycles and 6 years of dedicated training later they have nothing to show for it thats worth a damn
One afternoon a fox was walking through the forest and spotted a bunch of grapes hanging from over a lofty branch.
Just the thing to quench my thirst, he thought. Taking a few steps back, the fox jumped and just missed the hanging grapes. Again the fox took a few paces back and tried to reach them but still failed.
Finally, giving up, the fox turned up his nose and said, Theyre probably sour anyway, and proceeded to walk away.

Pic looks photoshopped you pasted head on another body. People hate bodybuilding cause of guys like Boston Loyd cause he represents the sissy whose self conscious and does g4p. Rich Piana cause people can't relate to a mutant 50 year old who dresses like a 14 year old . Jeff Said because he is fake and way to conceited the kinda guy who probably talks about himself constantly and takes dick pics and ****. Kali Muscle because he represent your typical meathead bodybuilder. Guys who act like they do is the reason folks hate bodybuilding. Plus most average on the street bodybuilders are dickheads and you can tell they try too hard. Somewhere in between the looks muscle and aesthetics there's got to be a personality and a sense of humor to go along with the spray tan and the abs.

Try getting carried away with it for 10 years. I'm with you though. I'm trying to stay out of the gym and into more outdoor hobbies.

Anyone who trains knows that 89% of the dudes are sub-par. Most of them are compensating, but what is getting you rustled is that society seems to be ignoring the reality and worshipping this facade: existing within a hypocritical word sucks. Seeing that men are compensating, it's just your job to state and prove the reality of this and then distancing yourself from those who prefer the illusion: most of what you said in the 0P is spot on — those who disagree are probably offended for being outted.

Women date for celebrity, money and political power; men who posses any of the above are not judged on their face or body (think Hawkins). Men that are soldiers can get beautiful wives, fat on wall-street gets a plastic bombshell type, politicians get the highly educated sort. Handsome men can get the SAME quality of women without the above three qualifiers, and unattractive men without some qualities of the attractive ones (even if falsely gained aka synthetic), and none of the above three, get nothing or females their equal in rating.

You do seen mad though, and the handsome guy above who grilled you may have called you insecure mistakenly, but I see your use of degrading words as tactless and immature towards those already hurting. Also short women are made for shorter men, so don't hate on short ppl, some are legit like PMlet.

When you look at yourself in the mirror and see nothing but skin & bones your entire life you would think 'Should I still get embarassed everytime I take a glance at my own body?'

I regret the fact that I never played any kind of sports in my life until I discovered BB. That was just like not even a year ago.

Now I do check myself out almost everyday and admire my first newbie gains as an average natty lifter but the thing is that lifting dramatically improved many aspects of my life besides my own physique, and that's even more important

That's only artistic miscers you're talking about. Most guys who lift are just curlbros who can already get laid.

And when people hate on someone with a healthy athletic physique (not Rich Piana freak physique) it's because they're jealous. That's all there is to it. They look like chit and have zero willpower so their only option is to try to attack you and bring you down to their level. It's pathetic

99.99% of people don't know who those people are. Zyzz isn't even known outside bb circles.

They are subpar because they are compensating genetic chit. No one with good genes lifts, they're busy playing sports and slaying pooon. I've attacked no one in this thread and im not mad

All the hardcore gymgoers I know with the complexes are on gear and definitely look muscular.

btw The men who get women via money power and status get cucked by the guys with the good genetics and facials, because women are genuinely attracted to them for their looks, not something they own. Dating and getting women from anything other than your looks or behavior is a cope. Glorified hooker or sugar daddy relationships while she fuks the handsome pool boy with no status

Your natural looks and behavior are all that matters in life. If you haven't figured it out or "ascended" by the time your puberty ends its gg

Athletes don't look like gymcels. If you want to look like an athlete how about you (shock) go outside and play the said sport the athletes with the physique you want play?

There is no reason to step inside of a gym to build a healthy body

Absolutely guarantee you, every woman gets wet at the sight of a guy 6' 1, 210 shredded.
Ding ding ding ding. Op until you grow 5 more inches and pack on 30 more pounds of lean mass then you can't say sht because you don't know. Fact of the matter is, I enjoy lifting and cardio because it makes me feel godly (endorphins). The added benefits of women on my jock is a plus. As long as I'm content with how I look then fk everyone else's opinion.

Also just lol envy not being in the equation, the average joe looks like a sack of sht. If you're someone who has a beer belly and you see a good looking shredded dude then there's a high chance you get insecure (if you don't have high self esteem). If you're an ugly to slightly above looking female and see a shredded dude you're going to think he's out of your league and thus be insecure. People are threatened and or feel uncomfortable by those who are out of the ordinary or achieved something greater than they have plain and simple.

I know guys who lift who are tall, 6ft1+ 200lbs lean. plenty of them are FA look at this very forum, and the ones who get girls were getting girls before they got into the gym. The majority of them look like crap facially so they never stood a chance.

No, this is only in your head. No one is seriously jealous of lifters, we aren't special there are dozens of them at the local gym on grams of chit. I seriously hope you don't actually think people are getting jealous, bodies like that look like cope and compensation to normal people. It is not admiration or envy , its pity and awkwardness

It's your frame + height + face as well as being black that gets you attention, you could get all the attention and attraction without the muscles. Again, proving my point that lifting does nothing without good genes in the first place, and your results would be the same if you were dyel.

There is never a single example of muscles working in the absence of face, height, hair and frame, as they are the things doing 99% of the work.

It's like saying you won an olympic medal and equate it to drinking tea every night, when it contributes less than 1%

All the hardcore gymgoers I know with the complexes are on gear ...
You are idealizing. Much of what you say is true, but not always. Often the Tom Brady type gets cheated on with a less handsome man who's more emotionally available, he can even be poorer. Not all high profile relationships are lop sided monetary interactions (think the royals or the Hilton/Rockefeller marriage). Not all with celebrity are rich, sometimes this popularity is from street violence or prowess divorced from wealth. I've seen fat French artists get international models, and these men were esteemed but not wealthy.

Further, it is not for you to speak on behalf of all attractive males, I have a nice body naturally, but go to the gym to perfect it. You are talking about the natural low bf tennis players or swimmers, but these are just one general type of natural physique. Many guys take protein supps with breakfast if they train or play sports for the benefit, and by your estimation this would negate their natural form — the argument is its own defeater, eating itself would become implicated.

I think the juice culture is fraud and that guys have defeated themselves via over saturation of that image. When a guy with rabbit teeth and a bald spot has a pro card physique then the magic has been robbed; same with masstige and the devolution of luxury possession: guys who drive imports but are only normal looking are also not admirable (but then the question of ownership over leasing is raised for all also).

There is more to this discussion. It's about the nature of authenticity and deservingness.

Not a single girl who has seen me naked has not gone crazy over my body and actually admired me more for it... So this is personal experience OP. Not speculation. I mean jesus man even besides that.. do you know who Arnold is? And just how much bodybuilding heavily influenced and amplified both his success in life and with women? Put a six pack and muscle on an average looking guy and put him on the beach and see if he does not get girls wanting his cock as opposed to if he had a beer belly.

Bodybuilding is a HUGE step towards self improvement. I don't know why this is even debated. If it was so worthless, so many guys would not have found success from it.

This just looks like someone (op) who is dissatisfied with his results trying to tear down the activity which is just plain weak

Gymcelling is suppose to be a compensation tool for that "it" factor, if you already have "it" you would never see the need to lift but for sports, as such lifting is a self fulfilling prophecy, there are no elites who seriously BB. If you have a good face, good social circle or good frame+height combo lifting would be the farthest thing from your mind.

Proof: everyone here is FA or bangs fat chicks

Got some bad news, a great physique only magnifies a good face and top 3% height. If your ugly and short being strong is seen as cope, if tall and good looking it's a positive. Life's unfair.
