I have been doing low incline db bench only for quite a long time. It still hits the whole chest, just puts a little bit more emphasis on the upper chest.

IMO it is the GOAT chest exercise, at least for me.

Went on vacation and ate like ****. was 4kg heavier. But fuk optimal i stopped counting and eat healthy/track in my head.

For that ig question.. That's why you take 100s of pics when you're lean so you can post them when you slip up hehe. Or you just post food porn and hope people wont notice you stopped posting physique pics. The only problem is when you go out with a girl bloated and she expects you shredded >)'' uuuuuuh i just drank 2l of water and am bloated xD its definitely not all the pizzas i ate yesterday.''

My upper body mobility is solid. So OHP and bench gains/lifts are above average. Lower body and core issues in my early days are still fukking me now.

If any young dudes are lurking. Work on mobility right from the start and save yourselves. Hip flexors and lower back need to be stretched constantly and hamstrings and core strengthened. For us with those long femur to torso length type bodies

Does anyone in this thread have a technical job and still diet with big deficits? Im going to be working with databases soon and was wondering if a large deficit would enhance my retardedness when trying to learn new things and apply stuff i only have a rough grasp on

I could get away with a crackhead deficit if i wanted in college just fine

Question: It feels like there's just a thick layer of fat covering my entire chest/midsection which is going away very slowly. Do most people have that, but have bigger abs so they seem more defined? Or do I just have to cut more?

Pic of me this morning at my lowest (128.6lbs, 27" across lovehandles). Still have 3 weeks to go before reversing.
Look plenty lean, you just need more mass across your whole body. Time to bulk IMO.

@kahri

how low were your carbs at the end of your cut and how much cardio were you doing?

also, what are your strength stats?
MFW cheeks are sunken in a bit and jawline is razor sharp. So I go to whole foods to get lunch from their bar and I catch this hnnngggg af/10 brunette chick with a phat ass eyeing me. I look at her and we just stare at each other for a few seconds. I look away and begin to put refried beans in my bowl. Unfortunately, the beans stuck on the bottom of the ladle plopped right on the counter and I looked like an idiot. What do I do? She's about to head towards the checkout lanes.

This. Tug, it's time to reverse out of your deficit for 2 or 3 weeks and start building some muscle. Your next cut will be so much easier and much more rewarding.

Im glad my bone structure would have to dissolve for me to be as light as that...cant imagine eating so little..GJDM on getting it done.

You will put on fat. How fast depends on your surplus

I completely disagree on the lower back part. The thoughts on lower back "flexability" have shifted - at least within the strength/rehab community: now many people think that you actually DON'T want a flexible lower back, the reason being the lower back is part of your core and is what stabilizes your entire body while under load so you actually want it to be rigid and strong (and it being flexible would lead to a greater chance of injury). Rather than the lower back, you want to mobilize a lot of the areas that surround/connect to it such as you hamstring, hips, hip flexors, and thorastic spine (middle/upper back) - and that mobilizing those areas will lead to less back pain and are the "functional" areas that need to be flexible anyways (think about it, when you move a couch for example, you want to pick it up with your legs and upper back, NOT your lower back).

I used to foam roll my lower back religiously before and after training sessions. Only thing it really did was help me get a marginally better arch while bench pressing, that's about it. Completely stopped doing any mobility work on lower back about a year and a half ago, while continuing mobility work on the surrounding areas.
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I just prefer to get the lower back warm.

Hips, glutes and flexors are probably most important
