Research has shown that regardless of your circumstances individuals determine their happiness level. A miserable kunt can win the lottery and within 72 days they are a miserable kunts again. You take a happy person and put them in jail and within 72 days they are happy again.


YOU create happiness regardless of how shiddy the circumstances are...Happiness is a choice.

The question to "how is your life" is really more accurately proposed as "have you chosen to let your circumstances effect you"?....and yes I realize there is depression that is outside of the bounds of my general comments.

Hate my job. Good benefits but not satisfying at all. Deceived into thinking it was an engineering job. My mind is wasting at this job. Having a difficult time landing a new job.

Love life is no good. I make friends easily but am FA with girls. Trying to put effort in getting girls (I don't even try) and also opening up more to people.

Probably the best it's ever been to be perfectly honest. I'm definitely the most mentally healthy, I feel myself developing and moving forward every day and things have been going very smoothly for me. I'm currently living in the Netherlands, don't have many distractions and I'm able to do myself.

Good, just grinding through medical school. Not having much time for females is hard sometimes, but other than that, I know all the hard work will be worth it in the end. Everything with family and friends is going well.

I'm assuming that's in response to my post?The "ceiling" for dentistry is unofficial.

A few examples....

1) My professor in endodontics essentially patented some new kind of technique/technology in the specialty, and is a MILLIONAIRE. She is also married to another endodontist. Their take-home salary each year would combine easily to $900k+

2) One of my family friends back home in Perth is 33 years old.. and is the CEO is 5 dental practices in the state. He's a bit of a burnout (self-confessed), and will taper back his duties... and work just 2-3 days max a week.

3) One of my friends who completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) is in a government paid position, paying him $430,000/year.

That said - in dentistry, however much you want to earn is up to you. This sounds bizarre to some people ("What? How can that be possible?" etc). If you want to be earning mega-bucks, specialize... or be business savvy. If you're OK with $120k-$200k/year, that's very doable too. All said and done - the average Australian annual salary is $74,000/year. So, I won't be complaining (as a single guy) lol.

There was an advertisement for a part-time dental job about 2 months ago, stating that for an individual with ~3 years experience minimum, the PT job would pay $90-100k/year.... this is for just 4-6 days of work per FORTNIGHT. Lmao. I couldn't believe it, but it's true.

Anyway, I will certainly one day be opening up my own dental surgery. However, I will first be working at other ones, to get the "hang of the ropes" of it all, and to understand how the business runs. As for the "10k/day" rhetoric silliness on the MISC, while I probably won't get that much (not realistic), it would appear to be more like "1k-2k/day" after a few years on the job

worried about bills. plus mcdonalds hardly pays anything, so I will still struggle to pay them because of the low wage.

life right now is lol... just lol but it'll get better. it always does before it gets worse again. ups and downs. the constant struggle. that's just life. just life.
