Is your brother a USAPL judge?
Does your brother have eyes?

didn't think so...

but for srs anyone who questions that depth has to be completely clueless about squatting. this is the first time I've even heard of someone mentioning the depth on this squat other than "holy chit that was buried"

From what I've seen judges are somewhat lenient on depth when they know it's a WR attempt.

He without a doubt hit depth here, though after watching the video a few times something about his body + the camera angle makes it look even deeper. He's such a massive guy it's hard to pinpoint exactly where his hip crease is, it seems parallel or a touch below, but not buried.

Either way the discussion on his depth is meaningless because no one in their right mind could argue that the lift is high.

Edit: please no negs, I lack the vernacular to use an alternative word in that context.

I like that I've seen this shared three times alread by literal non lifters on my ********, even if they don't appreciate what an insane feat this was at least he's getting a lot of widespread recognition.

I wonder what he would total even in single ply? Crazy.

Depth talk is over.

This is the greatest squat in the history of mankind and the fact that we are even discussing that depth just makes all of us look stupid. I feel like less of a man for even responding to samsboltons brothers comment.

Ray is squat God. My mind is still obliterated. My legs have never felt weaker. And I am going to spend the next year in and out of the gym trying to wrap my head around that lift.

Crazy part is that it looked like he had a little more in him.

yea because drug testing isn't iinfallible means it doesn't limit the amount or type of drugs at all.

theres no difference between tested and untested...... aside from the fact that untested lifters take **** like halotestin that makes you rage so hard you shake on meet day, pin grams upon grams in the final weeks of meet prep to maintain strength during a taper, and take a variety of drugs that stay in your system for months on end.

Yea man, drug testing has no effect what so ever.

Oh and when an IPF official(s) went to super cup of titans (a russian pling meet) a couple years ago and popped nearly every single lifter positive, they were on hilarious amounts of drugs that weren't even close to passing a WADA screen, that also had no effect on what they lifted that day.

When you are subject to random testing year round and at competitions that certainly does not have a single effect of the types of drugs you can use, or the amounts.

To add to this, I have seen USAPL drop tests on random lifters after just seeing them do random lifts at conventions

I'm not saying they're clean but there is no denying that they are strictly tested
