Syrian refugees in Europe largely come from overflown camps in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. Sweden alone is project to spend $6B in refugees by the end of 2016 - that's more than the UNHRC's budget. and nearly three-quarters of Syrian refugees are women and children, unlike the single male majority in Europe (since it's survival of the fittest to get there).
