He actually doesn't work -- Hasn't for the 3 years I've been with him. Long story, not getting into it.

I'm not dissing him, I'm just saying he's boring.

No, no, no. You guys have it all wrong. I love him a lot. I'm good to him, he's good to me. We make a good team.

He's just boring. I know it. He knows it. He's fine with me doing things on my own -- he doesn't hold me back. I've gone to Miami on my own, clubbing on my own, bars on my own... he's fine with it.

I'm just overly sensitive right now because it's New Year's Eve, I'm 21, I live in NYC and I'm eating a caramel covered cheesecake in bed, already my pajamas at 7:30PM.

Then why not go clubbing if you're so much more fun? Not his fault.

In.

The only friends I really have are college friends who are all out of town for the holidays.

It's somewhat depressing to be alone and without plans, but at the same time kind of relieving as well. Every year that I've had plans for NYE, it was going out clubbing with people and at this point, I'm tired of that scene and don't really enjoy it much anymore. If my friends were here, we'd probably be going out clubbing and despite not wanting to, I'd feel worse if I just stayed home. Now I don't really have a choice, lulz.

On that note, it sucks that I always feel the social pressure to be doing chit on occasions like New Year's Eve or on Friday/Saturday nights in general. They shouldn't feel any different than any other nights and I shouldn't feel guilty about staying in, but I do because I've so internalized the idea that if you're staying in, you must be a loser or missing out. Understanding this from a rational point of view doesn't do anything to change the irrational emotions I feel.

Staying in as usual, although have the flu, so couldn't go out anyway. Doesn't bother me one bit.

Why don't you ask him? "Hey bby, are you up to go on a rooftop with me at..say...11pm?"

He shirley won't reject that on NYE. Just don't go too early or it gets boring quickly.

I don't treat myself badly. I'm always trying to improve on chit that I want to change. It's just that it's hard to actually change.

Not really desperate. I just want to move out and chill with friends more. I go to a commuter college so I've never experienced living with other people my age. Don't know why that's bad.

I did. He said no.

He wants to go to Central Park, it's 40 degrees and I've already walked my dog in Central Park 4 times today.
