Today I am grateful for:
-Good weekend away with the GF/her family. Beautiful view from the holiday house, literally right on the beach front
-Orientation for university today, definetly going to be good to get back into a routine after the holidays
-Car wouldn't start last night; tried again this arvo and got it going. SO glad to avoid paying for the mechanic to fix her up
Have a good week miscers!

Grateful for
- My rotator cuff injury not being as bad as I thought
- 20 frozen pre-cooked homemade meals to keep me on track for my cut
- Free tickets to the Hawks game for tonight. Not a huge NBA or sports guy in general but any time spent with some friends is something to be grateful for.
Have a great Monday everyone

I'm Grateful for:
-early morning predawn hours
-rain. It is refreshing, and not just because the lake's so dry they found a whole highway under it.

- some heavy DL's today. Starting to get better at the whole strapless thing.
- having some extra wifi AP's at work, so I could snatch one to extend WiFi at my house(they let me have it..no stealing for me). Couldn't get a connection in the office because it was too far from the old AP. $500 AP, for free

Today, I am grateful for:
- The pastor of my parents' church. I am not a religious person, but he gave one of the best memorial messages I have ever heard.
- All the time I got to spend this weekend just hanging out on the couch with my girls and watching tv with them.
- The Penguins and Oilers both rolling playing well lately.
- Free lunch at work today.

3 Things...
1. Got super good news from the doc today! Health will always be #1 and I'm so relieved and grateful.
2. Had a great night this past saturday...really fun time eating hnnng italian food & meeting new people who turned out to be awesome
3. warm weather for what's supposed to be the dead of winter...was able to wear a wool peacoat instead of my parka, and that is really something for where I live!

Grateful for
-NOT CRASHING! Some dill-hole almost rear ended someone in the fast lane because he was following too closely and not paying attention to the stopping traffic. So he swerved into the carpool lane and almost hit us/push us into the wall. Thankfully I was able to stop without sliding and was able to avoid the accident.
-My little plants in my office are looking green and healthy. Normally I don't have a green thumb so I'm pleased I've managed to keep them alive and well.
-The heater at work was left on all weekend. So I got to come into a nice and toasty office this morning.

I'm grateful for...
Knocking work out of the park already this week.
Being in KC so I can hang with friends during my downtime.
A couple beers at my hotel reception
A decent leg day. Missed a couple sets because of a lack of motivations, but I went heavier on the sets I did do.
Decent weather, considering it's almost February.

- My awful roommate last year. He taught me how to sleep through anything, and it's coming in handy for my loud and obnoxious roommates this year.
- A new sleep schedule. Been coming home at 5:30pm, eating dinner, sleeping from 7pm - 2am, then doing school work from 2am - 10am. The apartment is completely quiet at this time, and nobody else is awake to distract me with texts or memes or whatnot.
- Webcams. I started livestreaming some video game coverage with my best buds, and hopefully many years down the road I'll have recordings to look back at how we looked/sounded and remember the good times.

Grateful for
-Instant coffee. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'm out of my regular coffee and I can't make my commute without it. Also don't have time for a drive thru.
-My credit has improved so much so that I was able to obtain a small limit credit card to help me rebuild. It's been a long road to credit recovery since my divorce. But I chose the financial burdain over a bitter divorce for my daughter. Not all ex-wife's are a-holes.
-Warm clothes. It's really chilly outside today. Brrrrrr
