From winter till the beginning on spring...sometimes I hated how much time I had to spend underground.
Miss it a bit nowadays now and again but back then...I remember coming up and and saying 'DAMMIT! its forking freezing!'
Would not need to come out for a week if needed...lol.

I have a better commute.
Live literally across the road from my office and classroom (work at a large academic medical center / grad student). During lunch ill just go back home and eat leftovers or take a nap. My apt gym is pretty solid, and can eat on campus or nearby restaurants (chipotle like x2 a week at least lol). All within 5min walking. Or can hangout on campus and run on nearby trails. Game days I just walk and don't have to pay for expensive crowded parking, let some of my friends park in my apt garage too. It's amazing and I'm spoiled now. Only drive to get groceries or do errands once a week or hitting up downtown. Going to miss this place when I eventually move on. Cannot be more convenient for work/school/play.

It isn't a mall it's the second largest underground pedestrian walkway in the world after Montreal... have a clue... I work in an office tower and live in a condo building that is connected by the walkway and I can access the walkway without having to go outside from work and home which is a unique scenario tbh

That's actually pretty cool... I'm in the country at the moment so it's the complete opposite end of the spectrum of living. Pretty convenient... No car/maintenance, lawns, driveways, etc
I'm assuming the condos/apartments aren't cheap (relative to the cost of living in Winnipeg) and everything in that mall is expensive. Plus no open spaces and fresh air. Everything has trade-offs I guess.
