One of the first dates my wife and I went on, i commented on our motorola flip phone she still had, and while I am old, i met my wife in ~2009 so smart phones were alive and kicking back then. We got into the conversation about technology, social media etc and I found out on the first date she wasnt into social media. Didnt feel the need. Told me people she was closed to knew what she was up to and didnt see any upside with sharing her personal life for the masses to see.

I couldn't remember the last time I met a girl with no social media of any kind. I guess they are out there.

Im not saying you have to tell them not to hang out with so and so. They can hang out with who ever they want. You just need to sit back and observe.
I have no girls that are friends. I know girls that I work with professionally, i have acquaintances that are women that I will chat with or say high to if I run into them in a social setting, but by no means do I go out of my way to set up time to "hang out" with a friend thats a girl. Maybe Im just old fashioned but i always had girls I wanted to make money with, girls I wanted to sleep with and thats about it.

So on the flip side, if she wants to chill and hang out with dudes, no problem. Continue to do so. Im just not going to take whatever we have going on seriously.

I dont know about you but Id use that dollar to invest in something that can yield me more than $1 quickly so i can take the initial investment, reinvest it and take the profit to buy food with.

no one knows anyone and you can't change people, they have to do it themselves and just cause you say one thing or set rules doesn't mean it's 'fixed' ... and naturally as people hate being told what to do or act, change is a lot further than you think

Before mobile phones people actually had to meet potential hook ups in person than came mobiles than came dating apps than came software with password you just type in your phone all hidden messages apps pop up. Just makes people who are unfaithful now even easier to go undetected unless you are good with hacking.

i'm not religious by any means, but i believe that the decline over youth that are church going and religious over the century has a big impact on moral standards. as well as, of course, equal work opportunity for females makes it easier for females to leave a man. or vice versa.


my parents have been together for about thirty years. they are extremely religious. i know for a fact that they will grow old and die together. they come from Russia, so the type of Christians you have over there are not comparable to the ones here in the usa. I definitely feel that social media has a huge impact on relationships as well. When you can send nudes to five different people in two minutes, it can complicate things. Back in the fifties, you would have to take a girl out for months. Surprise her. Meet with her family. Etc. So basically 1. morals have diminished 2. true romance is lost 3. technology makes it easier to cheat


again, i'm not religious myself. but i do think that the moral side of religion has a big impact on whether a couple cheats on each other. And i'm not talking about the casual sunday worshiper. i'm talking about the people who are almost freaky religious. i'm talking about your grandparents that have been together for fifty years. I don't think relationships will ever be the same again due to religion and technology.

Of course it has, cheating is easy as fukk these days but hopefully peoples conscious holds then back. I have suspected cheating but never found evidence. If someone cheats on me I just cut ties and move on. No need to cry or go fight the man etc.
