Relationships are work, fellas. Not only are they work but they are an organism. They take on a life of their own and both parties need to set boundaries, contribute and have a greater vision of what is to come.
That vision definitely should not revolve around the dichotomy OP has pointed out. He is absolutely right, too, to point out, in so many words, that "birds of a feather flock together". If you want a better woman, be a better man because they only person in life you can change is yourself. That might sound like cheese but it is the cold, hard truth.

Lol I was kind of expecting this kind of thread will soon surface due to this hate-women thing that's dominating the misc.
There are many possible reasons why younger misc'ers are like that:
- Defense mechanism. They rather portray they hate women since they know they can't talk to women.
- Some may have real hate due to bad experience like constant rejection. They decided to believe that all women are bad and instead of realizing that there is something wrong with them.
- Impossible expectations. Brb 3.50/10 FA looking for a 10/10 gf. I mean really? They are FA, why not look for someone within his reach first and see how it goes. Build their confidence with their fellow 3.5/10 and then go from there.
- FA's were made to believe that its taboo to be friends with women. I think FA's should actually entertain having women friends. They have to be exposed around women to develop their social skills regardless of the circumstances. This will also help them learn a lot of things about them instead of listening to fellow FAs in forums.
I think Misc has become toxic for young people who doesn't have any real world experience yet and trying to learn everything from here instead of enjoying their lives out there.
Its just like new born babies, they are like sponge, they absorb fast every first thing they see and learn.
And that becomes the foundation. Its hard to change.
For a lot of young miscers, this has been their world.
Huge part of their life experience came here from the Misc.
And some of them established their foundation about life in here.

^ Men are geared toward quantity over quality, but they also have strong instincts to pair bond and help look after a woman & their offspring i.e. they have monogamist tendencies as well.

So arguably both men & women are pulled between monogamist and polygamist tendencies. The rest of the argument ^ yeah, guys like these want women to be sloots when they're in a sloot phase, then they want virgins/'good girls' when they finally want to settle.
