You can get games online from steam, playstation store and amazon prime for much cheaper. Plus GS doesn't give you **** for games, brb giving them 9 ps4 games and getting 15 bucks. It's obsolete as fuk

The only good thing about GameStop is going in to get 1-2 year old sports games for like 4.99 each.

Well, they sell Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 on the PS3 for $2.99 so they're ok in my book.

Digital downloads are just as expensive as a physical copy AND you cant sell the digital copy once you're done playing. So putting aside Game Stop for just a moment, why is this a better situation for gamers? I guess convenience, but you can still use the internet to buy and sell physical copies.

Not sure why everyone was in a hurry to kill the discs.

Well, outside of amazon prime and best buy game club giving 20% off to pre-orders, you can typically get used games at a reasonable price. The complete ripoff is selling your games to them.

Strong this.

You would think a 2016 Fallout game would incorporate Multiplayer in some really creative way.

Heck, I would have taken the following :

- Make it so when you are playing the single player story, anyone can join your game and play as a "RAIDER" and hunt you down

- Every player has a "RAIDER" level, with customizable weapons loadout, and a base hideout that you pick somewhere on the map. This is where you spawn every time you join someone else's single player game.

- Then you're given a map with a general location of where the Single player is at, and you gotta go there and hunt him down.....

- This adds intensity to your Single player story, because online strangers can join your world and play as a Slave Raider and hunt you down

- And it adds fun for players who like to troll and grief people doing their storyline, or people who like to Hunt other players in a big world

stuff like that.

I mean, I'd have even taken some generic Call of Duty multiplayer in which you have 2 teams and just shoot each other and use your custom forts in MP
btw what did ya'll think of that idea for Fallout 4 multiplayer?

The writing is here, now they adapt or fall. I feel bad for companies that lose business because of the world changing around them, but now its perhaps time to stop ripping people off all the time.

Also question for the gamers out there.... when you buy a physical copy of the CD, you can still transfer it to someone else? I thought most games now make you "register" the disc and it becomes owned to you only...?

I am not a fan of these games being downloadable. I enjoy having a tangible game. Coming into your gameroom. Looking at the bookshelf and see all your n64 boxes. Looking at the back and reading the synopsis and seeing pictures of the game. Being excited to get to that spot in the game. Kids today wont experience that joy of going to a game store. Looking at each game. Enjoyinf a trip to blockbuster with friends arguing which game to get. Plus. What if your system dies. Do you lose all ur games? Or what if the game system goes outta business and the download able games arent available anymore. Tangible is better imo
