Here's the plan OP -

Bang his wife, and secretly record it, then send it to him.

That way he can't say you're lying.

Works every time

in this situation, I'd say it's most likely. not all divorces end that way, but clearly she's a person who is okay with cheating on her husband of however long who she has kids with, so i don't doubt she'll readily gut him if he tries to remove her from his life. And I think his kneejerk reaction will be to make things work if he really is as in love with her as it seems, and considering they have kids. Which obviously won't end well since she's already cheated on him before.

OP should care. he wouldn't just be awaring the husband. He will also potentially be affecting the lives of several children who have absolutely no responsibility in this situation. But sure lets fk up some innocent lives just cause. We have no idea how the husband will react to the news, for all we know he's a sunny guy on the outside with the closeted mind of a psychopath waiting for that right mental break to set it off.

Also strong putting the onus of preventing cheating on the man. So OP should be held responsible for awaring the husband that his wife is a sloot? Cheating is so easy nowadays because morals are sparse, not because people aren't digging into other strangers' business enough.

If OP cared, hewouldtell the husband who it was she cheated with, otherwise the dude won't even consider believing him. If OP doesn't care, then theres absolutely no reason to get involved.

HE wants to tell him! I never said he should or that he should be held responsible for meddling in some strangers business. Most people wouldn't do it for those reasons you mentioned, he's probably not going to believe him, there are kids involved etc.

i certainly would want to know if my wife cheated on me.... but why would the husband even believe you? unless you have proof, the husband is going to confront her and she's going to play it off like it never happened (she's probably really great at it).

so you're saying it's okay to say fuk it and just meddle in other people's live with no worry for the consequence?

You implied he is somewhat responsible and should get involved by saying that cheating is easy because "nobody wants to get in anyones business". You said "Who cares?" regarding why i thought OP shouldn't aware the dude. The entire thread is OP asking whether he should aware him...obviously OP cares.

I'd try to casually meet up with the bro at a bar and talk about random chit then get the conversation to his marriage. You'll be able to tell if you should say chit.

Yes exactly. Because if there were anonymous tips like that from different sources, then maybe it would make people think twice before slooting around. I see situations like this all the time in my own job, where people cheat and play happy family on ********. The whole office knows about the cheaters but nobody wants to get in anyones business so it's the modern day life made easy.

And if he's not willing to give the name of his roommate, then it really shouldn't matter since it's not like he can tell the husband who he is either, and he would not know what would happen afterwards.

so it's okay to say fuk it and mess with people's lives, since it would make people think twice...

so why haven't you awared any people's spouses at your own job that they are being cheated on? Seems you have no problem with it.

or are you one of thsoe people who doesn't want to get involved, but since it's someone else you think he should?

It's HIS choice, I'm pretty sure he has his own opinions. Is that so hard for you to understand that he makes the decision for himself to tell or not to tell?

Most people wouldn't tell, hardly anyone would. I don't know which is morally the right thing to do. Sometimes I feel that honesty is not that bad, especially when in today's world the morals are in the dump.

That's why people hardly ever tell. They don't want to take that responsibility. Is it right or wrong? I really don't know the answer.

go back and read the thread title again...is it so hard for you to understand that he made this thread with the purpose of getting other people's opinions on whether or not he should tell?

I just stated my opinions why I thought he shouldn't tell the dude....and why I thought honesty is particularly bad in this situation, since Op has no concrete proof to back up that claim.

I would only aware if the husband as absolutely no idea it's happening. Like if he knew a couple of stuff like she's flirty with other men or she kissed someone else in the past, i say it's his problem now.

They're strangers, I know nothing about them other than the fact that my ex-roommate banged the wife and what I can surmise from public pics.

Eh I've done both. I've awared someone that through the grapevine I found out their spouse was fukin around. And I've also not said chit.

Going forward, I am not saying chit. The time I told a dude, it was exact same scenerio. He was deployed, girl was slooting, I was the one fuking her because she said they were seperated. Then we stop talking and I see her post about them getting married one day and I am all over here like, "E=MC^2" and chit and figure out they never seperated.

I tell the guy, cue denial, she spins it like im a creeper, cue guys stalking me at bars asking me why I am trying to break up his girl. I show him fkin text messages of her talking about blowing me and me fuking her, SHE DENIES IT, says its all fake, dude sides with her and cue more drama.

Fk that chit. If you're going to do it, send it anonymously and then forget about it.

I mostly agree with this. The issue is that you don't know these people nor do you know their arrangement. If it's someone close to you then you can know first hand whether or not he really enjoys cuckold stuff, if they have an open relationship, or of just one of them is cheating. If you want to be a hero and "save" this guy then actually do your homework and be educated before creating a scene. It's unlikely you can confidently get this information, so just leave it be. You also don't have any solid undeniable proof so it's just your word against hers. Why should he believe you?

Cliffs:
- Get solid undeniable proof
- Make sure she truly is cheating on him and it's not a cuckold or open relationship

Otherwise if you can't make sure of both then move on with your life

Yup. I don't think it would ever turn out the way we expect. The only positive thing I could think of would be if the guy already had suspicions, and needed some extra proof, it could help.
