I've been spelunking in cave I had to crawl through but it wasn't crazy tight. I'd do it again.

Went on a school camping trip when in was 13 and caving was one of the things we did. I freaked out for 5 minutes before going in because I was a fat turd and afraid I'd get stuck, but it ended up being pretty neat. That being said, no fuking way I'm doing it because I'm a full grown 320 lb fat turd now and I would get stuck and die without question.

Going into caves with big open passages is pretty cool, though i have always felt like i was about to die any second when i did it. Been in a few caves/mines they're cool but super scary because i always image what if something just collapsed...
As for caving like in these vids where you can barely move.. no thanks. I hate ones where you have to even slightly crouch to get through a passage.
I've been here before and this was claustraphobic as ****, especially being 6'3 250lbs lol...

i go caving all the time, it's an awesome feeling going places where nobody has been before and where they might not ever go again. I am not a fan of squeezes though, I'm not claustrophobic but that chit is too much.

I've been in one legit cave that wasn't a tourist attraction. It's on someone's property and now it's been gated off so I don't think it's accessible but back in the day it was an awesome place to go. My dad used to go to it and I went with him and a few others.
It's insane to see an actual cave like that that's not been turned into a tourist trap. This one you had to basically repel down with ropes for about 50 feet due to the water and it being slipper. It went on for a good ways - still haven't explored all of it. Extremely easy to get turned around.
Also, there is only one uncomfortable squeeze to get through where I went. The rest was pretty open and you eventually come to this huge flat rock with a short ceiling of maybe 5 feet. There's tons of spray paint all over at that spot and beer bottles etc where people would hang out at. No way I would get drunk down there though.

A marathon runner has great muscular endurance, but many of them probably can't even squat 225 unless they actually train squats (which they probably don't need to do). You could have the grip strength to hold 500 lbs in each hand, but few actually have the leg strength to stand up with it much less walk with it.How the hell do they climb using once centimer divets? These guys must be able to farmer walk 10 tons with that grip strength.
