When their parents die they will be screwed. No one will hire someone with a large gap of unemployment and they will be old enough to start facing age discrimination. I see a lot of future suicidal depressives. When the safety net is gone, they will literally be worthless to society.

The boomers are the first generation as a whole to work for large amounts of wealth instead of working to support a good family life. They over inflated the housing market and continue to work without retiring, amassing tons of money, draining healthcare, being totally out of shape.

The downside to this is a market where there are more workers than jobs available. When corporations run by boomers are entirely profit driven, obviously cuts are going to be made to jobs. This leaves a decent portion of the work force unable to attain a lucrative field of work==work drop out, unemployment, nonparticipation, and living at home.

It is only going to get worse.... Society keeps allowing wealth to be dispersed to those who produce no service or product, but rather "own" shares of businesses/stocks, etc. The end result is less jobs. It is not sustainable.

Im not some libbie cucktard, this is just the way the USA is set up now. More and more money is being concentrated to the super rich who provide no actual service or value to society. The true producers are getting shafted, aka the middle class.

I haven't been NEET, I've been doing certifications/courses since I graduated to further my education, but I haven't been working. I did a bit of travelling in this time and also was dealing with some pretty heavy family stuff as my dad got cancer, but I need to do better.

Tomorrow I'm going into a bar/restaurant to hopefully get a job, and I'll be working there full time while I continue to study. Applied to go back to school in the fall so I need to start saving up. Will continue to look for a career job until then but if not, then I have to go back to school.

I've worked on and off tho, going from job to job, but most of those jobs are poverty as fuack. basically unworkable jobs unless your a illegal immigrant who will work for $8/hour with no advancement, or knocked up a bitch and will do anything for money cuz you wanna raise the kid.

basically its cuz jobs are crap, chit is too expensive. hell, for a lot of min wage jobs you end up losing more money than you make lol.

basically the job market is flooded with two kinds of jobs, $8/hour part time jobs with no benefits and no advancements. and then jobs that pay $100k+ but require advanced degrees and legit experience. the problem is their are no jobs in between. The divide between poverty and rich keeps getting bigger.

I'd rather have a fake resume and apply at 500 different places and lie at the interview and hope I get a decent paying job, instead of working a poverty ass $8/hour job. I have like 20 different resumes with different degrees and jobs/skills.

I live at home but I'm getting my AA degree in May and will try my hand at this chitty job market. The Neeters wouldn't exist if those jobs wouldn't pay so low and cost of living has been relatively so high.

Now for me, this semester is almost over. When that happens, I'll start working 1 day a week at my job which pays me $10.40 since I been there for four years. I won't have school and I'll dedicate my time to play video games, lift weights to be strong as fuk, and read books to enlighten myself.

My very last job I had making 19 an hour and I still couldn't afford ****. That's when I realized I would never work for goldstein ever again.

When my father was in his late teens and early twenties he earned enough money to:

1. Own a home.
2. Own a new vehicle.
3. Have a wife. A stay at home wife, she didn't have to work.
4. Have several children.

How many of our fellow millennials earn enough money to have those things? Even most of my friends, late millennials, don't have those things.

What has changed since then? Let's take a look:

1. The population of our country has nearly doubled. Not counting people who are here illegally.
2. The Hispanic population has increased from 6 million to 60 million. Again, not counting people who are here illegally.
3. We have entered into trade agreements that screw Americans.

Mass immigration has depressed our labor market to the point where the average millennial working a similar job simply isn't able to afford the same things as prior post-WWII generations. Poor trade deals and the massive shift in manufacturing has added to the pain by moving quality jobs overseas and giving them to foreigners.

That's the reality of the situation that we're in.

It's not the boomers and it's not directly society causing these problems of continued gap between rich and poor.
