That vid is pretty sick, crazy level of training.Check out this personal protection dog they demonstrate knife attack defense here pretty insane level of training.
But these videos/posts about well-trained guard dogs always make me wonder how things fare for people when they leave? I mean, there are tons of "high-end" dog training services available around the world, and I'm guessing they must work to some degree for people to keep coming back, perhaps even testimonials of the dog attacking someone in defense.
But how well do these dogs respond to what is basically a NEW owner?
Some rich businessman buys this dog for the price of a car, learns the commands, but does the dog just suddenly change ownership that easy and be loyal to you? Isn't some MODICUM amount of training required to keep these dogs in tip-top? Just like any other dog, the skills need to be honed/worked on. Also... these are dogs, so still pack mentality, so still need someone IN CHARGE. If you're not that person, the dog will become that leader and that's no bueno for you.
Just curious if OP or anyone in general can speak to that, didn't skim thread so sorry if I missed a similar post.

.
.
They are found almost exclusively working in LE, mil, etc.
Some times the dog does not bond with their handler/owner, and that's a problem. Usually training with owner and dog takes place to see if a bond forms.

Out of curiosity, how does someone get into this field? Guessing she was a trainer of some kind prior, but not just anyone can wake up one morning and all of a sudden start selling dogs for $80k. Mirin hard
