its difficult for young men under 30 these days.....lot of women have entered workforce and the current sterile corporate environment is more suited to them...theres just not enough openings for young people anymore.
other than that, job market has shrunk and upward mobility is slow as baby boomers arent retiring and cost cutting is on the rise.
few people are doing more peoples work..everyones underpaid, overworked...very few people are living a happy life and pursuing their passions.
you need to explore low entry barrier career options at this point....and work your way up.

1) Your goals are stupid. You want to acquire a GTR with no real income stream already coming in. Meaning your first goal should how do I acquire multiple income streams
2) You want to work for someone. Dont do it, its a trap, As I have aged I have learned the more you work for someone else, the more you are building their dreams not your own.
3) You arent following your passion, Do what will make you happy, something you love. Hell that changes, I can see why people change careers, because or passions change.
Millionaires/Billionaires dont set toys as their goals off the bat, They set goals like I want 10 million in the bank? Or 100k in the bank, or 10k in the bank. Maybe its all small steps. Remember how Jim Carey was? He wrote a check to himself for 10 million put it in his wallet and said that was his goal, He was going to work towards that.
If you arent grinding, You need to constantly be obsessed with becoming wealthy, eliminate the distractions. Ask yourself does this make you money?
Last problem? Is you are asking us? If we were really successful we wouldnt be on here. we would be on our boats or on a beach with no time to answer this ****. Meaning change your friends, acquaintences, networking.. Sometimes you just hang with people to learn, to study them.

i know it takes a hit on your self esteem..and i have been there...still in the same boat...but i am heading in a direction now.
i think you need to be realistic..u need to see where your current skill levels are..how good are u at finance vs how good are u at marketing vs how good are u at sales?
i would suggest not sticking to ambition-less careers such as waiting tables or uber driver for too long as they dont lead anywhere.
maybe try to intern somewhere? whenever i ve been stuck with career..interning has helped me get my foot in the door.

I'm not sure this real estate empire timeline is going to get you anywhere, just like the GTR timeline. Focus on providing value to someone somewhere. If real estate is where you want to be, figure out how you can provide the market with something, instead of dreaming about kicking back and living off rental income. Real estate is much more than just owning rental properties. There might be better opportunities in property management, home appraisals, lawn maintenance, working as an agent, flipping distressed properties, or any number of things. Different markets may be in need of different services yet have a glut of rental properties. There are probably young businesses that need help, maybe rental opportunities will pop up along the way

Im finishing my 3rd year of my undergrad Biochem degree and TBH i just want to fuking quit. My marks werent bad, (not great either 3.4x GPA at this point) but i have no desire to pursue a masters or PhD in biochem and no jobs hire bachelor Biochem majors for any decent money, not to mention my disinterest in lab work. My marks also are slighly below those needed to pursue most post graduate degrees that would interest me (Law being the big one) and sadly this led to this semester being an absolute train wreck as without a vision of the future to pursue i did jack **** and my grades are going to pay the price for it... and at this point i really dont think i want to come back next year... even if im 3/4 done i think itd be incredibley stupid to spend more money towards a degree i have no desire to have or use.
I literally have no idea how to tell my parents. They were so proud of the fact that i was going to "make something of myself" its honestly sole crushing. Ive been lying to them about how i found school (its great, im learning so many new and interesting things!) because it seemed easier than saying I fuking hate it, its boring, tedious and i have no interest in pursuing this any farther.
the worst part, is that while i never grew up in poverty or anything, my mom and dad were the typical blue collar family where they made sure we had the essentials and then some, but we never lived a luxury lifestyle with extra money to go around, and therefore i feel like such a god damn degenerate and pathetic POS for wasting their money on my schooling...

Where in NJ were you if you don't mind me asking and what were you looking to get into for healthcare?
I don't feel like a failure but definitely feel like I'am doing just enough to get by right now. The years have been flying by and it only gets more alarming. The amount of time I waste doing nothing, literally nothing is staggering and just needs to stop. I like my job now but I'm still young and can develop skills to make more of an asset as I get older.
