The day I realised that I'd been dealt a chitty hand in just about every aspect. My family are all alcoholics yet I wasn't as good-looking as my brother, so people didn't want to interact with me as readily - so not only was I unhappy at home I didn't have the social skills to form good friendships or relationships... or even to convince people to help me like the school nurse or the doctors I went to for treatment for various problems I was having. They'd pawn me off with drugs that didn't do anything and I'd shake their hand and say thankyou like they were doing me a favour when really if I'd had the social skills I could have asked for actual effective treatment or convinced them I was worth helping, or even just got my struggles and my problems across to them better.

It actually didn't bother me too much for my first 18 years, I guess I was in denial and just not thinking about it at all... It was only once I got to university off my own back that I realised most other people there had been given advantages I didn't have and were from better backgrounds. Turned straight to alcohol to cope, didn't manage to finish because I felt the cards were stacked against me. I'd got there because I'd done scraped by on exam grades despite everything and they had to take a few people from bad backgrounds so they could claim their were inclusive... once I realised that I thought nah fuk this chit I'm out of here.

When I got back that's when the real struggles started. There wasn't a year that some chit wasn't going on at home that kept me depressed and in my shell. Felt like I was held back so much by my disadvantages that I was always younger than I was developmentally compared with my actual age. Meaning I was 19-22 and felt like I was 15 in my head because 15 year olds had done more with their lives than I had.

Hard to say, there's multiple.

-Been working out for over 4 years, lost a lot of weight, but still don't look anywhere near what I would like to. Old eating habits from when I was obese didn't die...

-This SHOULD be my last semester in college. I SHOULD be graduating next month, but I fukked around and was going part time for awhile, so I won't graduate til spring 2019.

-I have never started a band and I probably won't ever do so. It has never worked out with other people, so I'm most likely gonna start recording and releasing my own music, but will never know the feels of performing on stage.

Me.
You like D&D, Audrey Hepburn, Fangoria, Harry Houdini, and croquet. You can’t swim, you can’t dance, and you don’t know karate. Face it. You’re never gonna make it.

Not following my dreams and becoming a pilot. Backed out the day before I was going to leave. I have a great life but that still bothers me.

Not gonna gong 100% until 24.

It feels like you're practicing in front of a bunch of people, and any mistakes you make sound even worse than usual
I felt it was somewhat underwhelming, yet still more euphoric than practicing at home

- Not trying harder in Uni so that I change to the uni degree I wanted. Literally no excuse for this, just hated being there and wasted a year. Almost did the same this year but dropped out instead, will go back when I'm dead sure I'm ready for it

- Not getting more serious about rugby when I was growing up. Just me being lazy as usual

- Not taking up more sports from an earlier age. This simply would've been a good idea, I like fitness & I would've made new friends which would've been cool

- Not at least trying to learn to play guitar/sing from an earlier age. Always dismissed myself as non-musical and I've found over the last few months that I really enjoy it

- Not realising how sh!tilly I was treating my ex and how much I was pushing her away before it got to the point that she wanted to leave. Being so angry with myself and taking it out on her was a big problem.
So many things I regret doing through that relationship, and I hate that I've lost her now because of them. Was with her 4 years and fuk me boyos it really was that perfect teenage relationship most of the time, really wish I could've saved things and continued being with her

Only 19 so plenty of life to live fortunately.

I'm dead sure we're all going to make it, every single one of us itt x
Fuarrkk you sound so sure, just posting ITT so I'm included in this. So, disappointments/regrets:

- Frying my brain with acid when I was 16 (was amazing stuff but why did I have to do it weekly?)
- Going to med school (hated every single second of it)
- Discovering certain bands/scenes about 20 years after their time had come and gone.
- As with most people here being massively unconfident with women during my prime years
- Not picking a couple of hobbies and getting really good at them by sticking with them for many years
