You guys are dumb AF. He was fired because of how he handled the Hillary investigation and how he used emotion rather than facts in his testimony. It was completely out of line to not recommend charges for hillarybsince that's not his job to recommend one way or the other. The dems calls for his firing then, and now that he did get fired they are flipping their view on it. What a joke. He deserved to step down plain and simple. He got way too political.

Comey was in bed with Loretta Lynch. It's pretty clear he colluded with Lynch and the Clintons. He was canned so someone can investigate that and all that Comey covered up. the ONLY reason he re-opened the investigation right before the election was because of rogue FBI agents that were pissed at the cover up and threatened to go public.

The Russia stuff? Please. Fake news. There are no ties to Russia. Never has been. It's a big distraction by the dems because they don't have chit.

Russia's interference in the presidential election. There are many facets to that, not just Trump collusion. It's been proven that Russia tried to meddle, but clapper said that they have yet to find evidence that they influence voters.

Both Clapper and Yates have stated neither of them have seen any evidence of Trump collusion.

Also, once again, just because Comey is fired does not mean the investigation is over. As evidenced by the subpoenas.

If Trump wanted to hide something, wouldn't he have gotten rid of Comeybeforethe subpoenas...you know...to try and stop the investigation like everyone is claiming.

or could it possibly be that a letter drafted up by a bipartisan deputy AG citing other attorneys across party lines that Comey has lost the trust of the american people and has damaged the reputation of the FBI. And was acting out of character and not upholding the standards of the FBI. If that came to me as a boss, it would be hard for me not to fire someone after that.

If Trump wanted to stop the investigation, why didn't he fire Comey the first day he took office? Why would he wait several months and allow the investigation to keep going?

some people both republicans and democrats are calling for an independent counsel investigation into the russia matter. from what it looks like the probes will continue. You've got spicer out there saying that Obama re-appointed his security clearance when that is false it was an independent type board the DIS that approved his secuirty clearance. That still does not negate the fact that Trump and team hired Flynn as his national secuity advisor despite the warnings from Yates, and Obama about troubling behavior in the past. So we feel that more investigation into Flynn and associate contacts could come up looking bad for Trump and the rest of his team.


Everything seems awfully suspicious and totally unprecedented.

Let me say this is just conjecture on my part: But my guess would be that Trump and co. assumed they could quell these investigations with their usual forms of propaganda (see- whataboutism), when the subpoenas were issued it was realised that more drastic measures are needed, those measures being installation of a head of the FBI that is willing to play ball and quell investigations from the inside.

That's just my opinion I'll be clear once more; I think the biggest question that people should be asking isWhy now?

A special prosecutor is needed, much like in the case of Nixon. America is completely divided as a nation on this issue and an independent investigation is the only way to make everyone happy(ish) and have even a modicum of unity across the continent.

With several people testifying under oath in hearings that there is no evidence of Trump collusion, why would he fire Comey (who according to the letter has informed trump he is not under investigation) if he knows he is innocent. Let it play out and see. But once that letter was placed on his desk, it kinda forced his hand.

I wish I wouldn't have typed up such a long response at work lol, didn't think this one through and I'm running out of time. But the Flynn investigation is still going on. It's still going to "blow up". Comey getting fired doesn't change that especially since the subpoenas have already been handed. So if anything about Trump comes through we will see.
