Wake wedding would be SIIIICK. Everyone in the bridal party being towed behind their own boat, guests are all seated on the shore. Bride is being towed down the aisle and throws a nasty 720.

Saw something pretty depressing today. I pass 3 school bus stops on the way to work, each stop has between 3-7 kids. Each one I passed, EVERY kid, not just a few, every single one was standing there with their face buried in their phone. Social interaction is at its all time lowest nowadays.

What exactly is Coachella? I see it all the time in news and chit. I'm from redneck PA, and our parties are basically mudding, shooting and bon-fires.

lmao the more you look for it, the more disheartening it becomes, because it's actually everywhere.

Big Music festival. takes place on polo grounds in Palm Springs, CA, covers the same square footage as 12 football fields. Usually 8-10 stages, with a couple other smaller stages for even lesser known artists. Used to be primarily hipster music, but now it's diversified enough that it pretty much covers all genres except for like metal.

so theres that, plus lots of really good food, alcohol is alright (heineken, dos equis, absolut, etc). can camp there, or you can rent a hotel room nearby and drive/walk/shuttle into the event. Pretty fun experience IMO, everyone there is mad friendly, lots of HBB's dressed as slutty as possible. It's an especially fun time if you have a good group to go with

tbh tho, mudding, shooting, and bonfires sound fun too. wouldparticipate/10

lol it certainly is history repeating itself through different mediums. but hard not to LOL when i'm out eating lunch, and see a couple waiting for their food, and instead of talking to each other or even just enjoying each other's presence, both are scrolling through their phones.

granted I'm guilty of having done this in the past as well, but only cuz I need to check my ******** notifications

I would also venture to say that phones should be the easiest to put down, as they are the most portable, most compact, and most accessible of all other devices listed.

It was a blast man. This year was my first year, bought the tickets presale before the set list came out taking a friend's word on faith, and I don't regret it at all. Doing the same again lol

FWIW...there were couples there pushing around toddlers in strollers, or holding their young child's hand as they walked through the crowds. Not that I condone bringing underage children into a venue like that....but if you found a sitter maybe? People of all ages attend, it's actually hilarious to have that realization thrusted in your face when you see some wrinkly 50 something dude shuffling right next to you
