Well riddle me this men:

What about when I give explicit detail about what I want/done...and then he just ignores me. I'll try other approaches where I will ask explicitly once then wait , sometimes a while, I bring it back up, and all of a sudden I'm this nagging bitch.

OH NO, I choose my food. Every Sunday we eat out him, the kid, his folks. His mom has VERY particular tastes so it's usually down to this rib joint, the thai restaurant and chilli's. I usually just want him to pick a restaurant because the group text will go around for like an hour before some one finally decides and it's like 1PM and I'm hungry as all get out. Once I get there it's easy to make a decision.

That's what I do! They had their chance. As for the original question, I always know what I want. I often eye menus up before going somewhere and I'm usually always craving something in particular anyway. Easy peasy.

AGREED. I will let them starve to death while I eat the entire pizza. Just principle at that point. I cannot stand when people say "I don't want any" then try to sneak some of my food (most of the time because they are too cheap to chip in)

Depends on the day...ranges from adequate to really tasty.

The funny thing is when I say I don't care (as long as it isn't crazy fattening) I really don't.

Left to my bachelor ways I would eat cereal, oatmeal, or popcorn for dinner. Maybe a sandwich or a frozen dinner if I'm willing to make a little effort.

Trying to act right I will make some kind of meat and veg, but he finds that way too boring and wants stuff with lots of cheese, butter, cream, pasta, etc.
