I got into Pokemon cards pretty early and had a very large collection - I had 4 or 5 Charizards and none of them were first edition. Everyone thinks they had one but they didn't.

LoL @ the guy ITT with the 1st edition, did you really not know that could be worth a **** ton of money?

Love how I collected so many cards as a kid, but never played the actual card game lol.

Those 1st edition Machamps were released with the unlimited base set. So it's not worth anything really

i had 1 of those fukers when i was younger. had a lot of good cards actually just kept them in a sleeve case never ****ied with them.... lost them all in a move

i like the length 5'7" lol and in the show hes a damn giant.

i knew it was #1 but didn't think it would be $20k today. if i still had it i wouldnt sell it for 20k, i would hold on to it and try to get $100k.

Only read the 1st page anyone else beside me have a 1st edition basic Charizard?.

Mine is not graded but if I had to guess sadly it would come in around a 7 - 8, suppose it wouldnt hurt to have it graded.

Have some other neat OG cards like the Japanese Happy birthday Pikachu, White Star team Rocket Riachu and a few neat Japanese sets like the Pikachu,Legendary and CD set, dont think any of them are worth much nowadays but were pretty neat when I was 12.

The wizards of the coast Pikachu would likely be the next most expensive card I have.

white star team rocket was pretty rare wasn't it? i remember buying those jap packs lots thought it was the coolest thing.

It certainly was at the time no idea about now. I have the Team Rocket team card for the same series in Japanese that was also pretty rare at the time.

Had quiet a few 1st edition American Dark Charizards seemed fairly easy to get at the time so doubt they are worth much now.

Im bummed the Japanese Happy Birthday Pikachu never ended up being worth much it along with my 1st edition basic Charizard were both around 300$ when I got them. Strangly enough I knew a few people who had the 1st edition basic Charizards while I was into Pokemon and not a single person with a Japanese happy birthday Pikachu.

Did the Lillypad Mew ever become worth anything? One card that always alluded me along with the Japanese ancient Mew, one old guy at the league I went to had both of them but refused to trade.
