Yeah maybe in Sweden. I don't see this going on that much in the US. I do know what you are talking about but it is not a common occurrence from my experience.

Obviously don't put yourself in situations where you are liable for someone else's mistakes (like cheating on a test or letting someone copy your homework). But you shouldn't be a snob either. I met far too many of them in college.
