- yes and freezing is your best bet (unless you are currently apply for loans/credit card).
- But definitely do the whole credit monitoring thing especially since they took over a month to come out and admit what happened. So, if you haven't been affected yet you could and it can happen at anytime (tonight, next week, next year, 15 years from now,,,etc)
This is why this is such a big deal, because you just don't now when you're going to get fawked.
You brother might be the perfect candidate to get a new SSN. If I were you I would let him know he has this option

when it comes to your identity and credit being paranoid is a good thing!
- imagine if North Korea were to buy up all our info and have state sponsored hack farms that would fawk hundreds/thousands of us every week. It would be a big thing, every Friday we would find out who got fawked or not. We would prob tuen it into a drinking holiyday

I heard some chit about mailing it in so I hung up and called again and went through the process again (yes annoying as **** and was pissed af) but then it let me pay over the phone.
EDIT: Now that I think of it, that was the only one that listed off ALL THE FCKN states over the phone. Yeah that's the annoying one brah. I am in Michigan though, I'd try again and see but maybe it's different for PA.

- If they did know, it would have been insider trading, and the SEC will find out, eventually.... hopefully. hope SEC will look into it.
- Them sell their stock before the news came out does look suspicious, but you have to ask yourself why such a small amount. There's no way they play it off as lets trade just a little and no one will notice. These guys know how things work and they being called out on it, would have been expected.
But you could be right, and they knew about. If so, they deserve to rot somewhere because they give the other honest bankers a bad name (inb4 lol at honest bankers)
