If you're not into online dating these days, you either have to start drinking/going out or join a church.

We had to be proficient with actually speaking to them and getting their attention through our words, actions, and actual appearance (not a filtered, angled photo on a dating site under perfect lighting).

We went out on a date, where we had to again make an impression. The other side of that coin is that so did she.

Why should you care? I just wanted to comment on this little dance that millennials often do where they meet on these dirty little dating/sex sites trying to get laid. Half the time you're just talking to a perverted dude, and that's a guarantee. You're sending a picture of your cock to a hairy dude whose pretending to be a girl. How does that make you feel?

Think about this: If you were a woman, would you want to be with/date somebody who texts out pictures of his dick? Likewise, why would you associate with a female so classless as to send nude pictures, whether through text or whatever messenger? I know it goes without saying, but if she'd send them to you online, she's sent them to a hundred dudes before, and no telling how many she's been with.

Why not show some class for yourself and expect some back. Be the kind of person who expects more from yourself and of your potential mate.

And don't tell me that all women are "sloots" or some other dumb coping mechanism you guys have come up with to explain your own inabilities to get with a proper woman. I promise you they exist and if you want one, you have to be the kind of person that she would want first. And a person skanking around on plenty of fish isn't that guy.

Cliffs-
-If she'll send nude photos to you, she;'s sent them to everybody else too
-Have some class if you expect to find a classy woman
-Don't do it online like a *******: Go out in the world and meet people.
-Ladies there's a message in here for you, too.

-inb4 thanksdad
-inb4 ignored
OP is a *******.

You can't even comprehend the percentage of the population that is/has been/will be a hot dog stand anymore srs. Nobody really can except for fellow brahs in this age group that actually do bang/talk to a lot of women. You see it first hand, I refused to believe myself for the longest time, but as time progresses and everytime I'm single again and get to scope out the field I just realize that society is literally fooked.

Yes there are still 100% solid chicks out there, but there most certainly aren't enough out there for all good brahs to get/find one by being solid themselves. They are so fuking rare now days that you really do need to get lucky to find one and there is not enough to go around for everyone anymore. It is a chit show out here now brah all thanks to social media/dating apps. 100% srs.

Still though the best way to potentially end up with one of the last good chicks is to get good at talking to girls in person and being a genuinely good brah and chat up chicks that seem the same.
i dont agree that social media made anyone anything, its a tool like anything else

I wonder what the older divorced brahs would say...

Oh, wait I am one. You have no idea what it's like now OP. Sure, you can meet women offline, but most of them are on these ****ty dating apps, too. How you meet them doesn't matter. Work with the tools you are given, it's called evolution.

I'm only a few years younger than OP (just turned 34), although unlike him I never married and have a lot more experience in the modern dating game. I think he makes some good points, although I don't think there's anything wrong with meeting women online/through apps unless that's all that you're doing.

But here are a few things I've noticed about younger people:

- A lot more socially awkward. Especially true of young men, though I've seen this with girls as well. An inevitable side effect of everyone spending too much time online/on their phones.
- Most of the guys who complain about low value women are of low value themselves. You generally attract what you deserve.
- American girls are a lot less feminine these days, but men are also much less masculine. You can't complain about women not being traditional when you aren't traditional yourself.
- A girl being on social media isn't necessarily an issue unless she's posting her ass or uploading selfies every damn day (other than the narcissism that social media inherently breeds, but that's a problem for everyone).

It's the ideal situation to shoot for. But you honestly have no idea what you're talking about.

Edit:. Except for the nudes part. Dont mess with those girls.

Way back when I started as a trainer, my gym manager told me that he'd advertise for new trainers on the YMCA page, and get ~30 resumes, call 10 people, talk to 4-5 in person, then find there were 2-3 who seemed equally good, but the practical interview would make it clear who he should hire.

He said that when he put up an ad on seek.com.au, he'd get 120-140 resumes, butat mostonly 1 more quality applicant (someone who got through to practical interview). He said, "for just 1 more quality applicant, it's just not worth going through an extra 100 resumes."

It's the old 80-20 rule once again. A small amount of the things you do will get you most of the results you want. By being generally social, you'll get those 30 or so, and find 2-3 quality people you might want to "hire"; with the online stuff you'll get another 100 "applicants", but only 1 more quality person.

Noticed the awkward thing as well with teens. These younger people aren't going to know how to actually socialize. They're just evolving, not in a good way though. They migh be better at computers and multitasking, but losing the ability to communicate with others face it to face is going to he interesting as time goes on.

The feminine part sucks too. Masculine and feminine energy have to he present, it's what us guys are usually attracted to.

I'd like to say this is true, but then I think... how socially awkward was I at 17-25yo? And my friends? We were all pretty dorky, I'd say. Then I joined the army and went meathead, which wasn't much better. So I'm not sure if young people are more socially awkward now, or if they're just awkward in different ways.

This is true, but again nothing terribly new. "Girls don't like nice guys," said a mate to me at 15yo - but he wasn't a nice guy, he was an arsehole.

Nothing truly changed. People are still people. The only thing that changed is that the tools used to facilitate natural human vanity have been fine tuned a little more.

Who the fukk still sends nudes in this day and age?
PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.
GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.
PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?
GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.
PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.
GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.

Didn't realize it at the time but school = pussy buffet. Hot chicks everywhere and you actually have free time during day to hookup. Day time hook ups are the best because that is when chicks have their guard down.

That's like having your parents tell you to go find a job in your local newspaper. **** changes overtime and these dating apps is the primary way to meet people fast. I don't even use these apps out of disgust but I can still realize how valuable they are.

o look another gramps who is enlightening us on the error of our millenial ways

u realize ur precious good girls that you meet IRL are all on dating apps too right? You're pulling from the same pool, just setting a different tone/expectations for the interaction based on where you met them.

u can't resist the future, online dating is only going to get more pervasive.

Never got too much into the social media craze. Just FB and snapchat.
FB purely for sports and gaming news. Unfriended, unfollowed and unliked a lot to unclutter useless fukn **** off my newsfeed.
SC for close friends and some misc brahs.
I know my fair share of friends and people who are addicted to the social media craze but also a lot of people who use it but aren't influenced negatively by it. So it just depends i guess.
