If I lived under a rain cloud on an island being overtaken by immigrants and smaller than a single state in the USand worked as a postman, I would be in a hurry to travel as well. This thread is not about the travelling habits of peasant lands

Travel crew. Just got got back from 6 months traveling all around mexico having the time of my life. Leaving in a few days to do a year outside of the USA. Literally not sure if srs that traveling is a waste of money. Unless you're just staying in all inclusive resorts, traveling is cheap af and a GOAT way to spend your time.

I spendt $2,500 USD for 6 months of nonstop fun and learning Spanish. $300/month Apartment 10min bus ride to beach. Brb goat tan, brb hot latinas, brb travel brahs, brb all the same amenities as USA but 1/3 the cost. Just lol at staying in USA forever.

How mad I can dominate any social setting because of all the interesting stuff I've done meanwhile Timothy can only talk about how many mountain dew bottles full of piss are in his moms basement?

Travelling isn't for everyone I guess. Some people like their comforts and culture too much to enjoy what the rest of the world is like.

Personally I don't think there's anything more fun than going to another part of the world and experiencing how different it is.

Yup this. some people just don't have interest.

Some of my friends want to do a US City tour but it's mainly to check out sports arenas (NFL/NBA fanboys).

Like lol enjoy Boston and Dallas - I'm goin to Barcelona and Amsterdam boyos.

Where in America can you watch the sun settle over a chalk white village like in the Greek archipelago? Where in America can you engulf in the fine arts of the Renaissance like in Italy? Where in America can you be mesmerised by the fairytalelike countryside of the British Isles? Where in America will you find as astounding fjords like at the coast of Norway? Where in America can you hear Ali Baba scream out a call to prayer like at the minarets of Sweden?

I've been to a lot of states, probably more than the average american. i can say with certainty that the USA has some very beautiful land. however, I'd love to, and will some day head to europe to see the swiss alps, belgium, austria, and a i wouldnt mind seeing parts pf greece and italy. and bro, if youve never been to the bahamas, you cant say that the USA is the GOAT place to vacation. check out bora bora, some islands in vietnam, the seychelle islands look absolutely amazing. you cant find that kind of landscape in the states bruh. or the culture. or the food and booze and women.

Also, you keep acting like America is so poor, yet we have a very small percentage of the world's population and the standard of living is higher than almost every other country. Your perspective is skewed for some reason
I would love to move out of the US and tried once but was living with someone who couldn't.

What you said about America being beautiful, it's not. It's mostly woods that are all the same looking and fields for farms. I suggest you jump on an east to west highway and take a look. Everything is much the same and it's pretty barren.

When you factor in places like Africa, of course the US has a high standard of living, but I wouldn't say as much as France or Italy. They're far more poor European peopled countries, but they have an overall nicer quality of life than the US, in my experience.

People in the US do nothing but work and stay home and have a very low quality of life.

I think if you're looking for nature and chit, USA is amazing and diverse with lots of great places to see, but if you want history and to meet more interesting people, then Europe is way better (and also naturally beautiful and diverse).... The world is all amazing and you only yolo once so you should try to see as much of it as you can but don't post pics to instagram and talk about it cause nobody gives a fuk, keep it to yourself.

I don't care for people or their culture but I do enjoy seeing scenery and eating different foods.

With that said there is so much to see/do in America its really not appealing to travel to some third world chithole just to 'experience' it. There are certain places I'd like to go. But its mostly just to see the sights/eat the foods. As I get older I've found I completely despise tourist attractions/places where lots of people are gathered. Never travel during peak summer, spring break, etc. Basically when kids are out of school & college is the worse time to go anywhere.

I really think I'm going to end up getting a nice touring bike and try to see most of America on the back of it. I'm thinking a street glide.

I think it depends on how you were raised and if you have the money to do so.

- My parents always took us on winter and summer vacations outside of the country and this has carried over to our adult hood and family vacation every winter and summer and other trips we take with our friends

- If it isn't going to burn a hole in your pocket then why not go to a place you've never been and always wanted to see.
