Pic of mine:

Been thinking of starting a non profit no kill shelter for elderly/troublesome dogs and have wanted to do it since my teens.

People would say phuck no to the intial start up (800k approx) but the thing that go me was a testimonial of a shelter owner saying they always have to reject dogs.

I couldn’t do that personally and it would be hard relying on others to continue to help dogs in need.

If any one you know is in need or is thinking about a dog i’d advise you to ask them to attend a shelter and find a dog who’s in need of a good home.

Literally irritates the piss out of me when I here crap like that. People think "oh boy! I'm going to get a massive dog because how cute right?!!!". It takes a lot of work to get a giant dog breed to listen and be under control. I actually stopped going to the dog park because of that. Flynn is 37" and about 215lbs right now. He's a big boy

Flynn would actually love your dog. His best friend is a Shiloh.

That's awesome! So few Shiloh's out there, that it's always surprising to hear about other owners or folks who know about them.
.
People just are not as aware as they should be. Flynn is very protective of my wife, so we have to take several steps to be safe in certain situations and never let a stranger around her alone with him.

His Shiloh friend is named budda and they love each other. They play so rough that some people have come over concerned that there is a huge dog fight. Never hurt each other though

No. I'm too worried about hurting his back. They don't have long life expediencies, and I feel like that would make it worse lol

Squeeeeee at the puppy pic!!!!!! Would snuggle chit out of/10! I love puppies, but would never get one. Too much work. I think once my pupper goes to the rainbow bridge I might foster senior dogs.

Don't shop! Adopt!!!!! You could always start small. Have you ever fostered? It's free, saves 2 lives, the dog you foster and the dog that get their space at shelter.

Can't stand when owners can't control their dogs. Could end in disaster.
