Reptiles, snakes especially, will not bond with you. No love for you, no hate for you, no feelings one way or another. But if you feed them and once they know you're not a threat to them then they will tolerate you handling them.

Birds though, you can bond with them, and they totally like, even sometimes get possessive of their owners.

Very cute birds! That's pretty cool that they bond with you.
