Do you (and others) not realize that there are plenty of women into fitness who feel no need to spread their glutes on social media? Men and women are massive attention hos in the fitness industry and, again, this is not a gendered issue (as SheSprints said).

If we are going to focus on just women - let's be honest, every time womanlet posted an IG of her shaking her arse here there were pages upon pages of guys essentially fapping to her avatar (those threads still exist, go take a look). So those guys wouldn't want to bang her if they could? Misc please. I bet if Mods could read womanlet's inbox they'd find hundreds of messages from guys here (married and not) offering to hook up with her, pay for her flights/costs/her/whatever. But somehow this changes once you're dating her, I guess - hence the posts in this thread about guys not ever wanting to 'let' their woman post photos like that.

It's what it is - you want to meet a 'fitness chick' off instagram who either receives loads of validation from all the comments about how hot she is and/or is promoting something for $$$$ - you will not change her by dating her. Nor would a woman be able to change the guys on IG doing the exact same thing.

There's a line IMO. Progress pics or whatever are fine but there are girls I've seen on IG who have boyfriends and will post their bare ass in thongs. I wouldn't do it if I was in a relationship.. gives off the wrong message and invites the wrong kind of attention, that kind of selfie level is disrespectful as fuk. Its good to have boundaries and if they differ from your partners then it's fine to bring this up and see how you can compromise if necessary. I had an ex once who took it to the extreme though to the point where we'd argue on a daily basis if I glanced in the same direction of a man, went the gym or wore jeans in public.
