I think we're talking about two different things. When I think of a dad bod I think of no muscle tone and/or a big beer belly. A 6 pack isn't a requirement for me, but I don't want a huge gut either.

I also think it has a lot to do with insecurity. I also think that feeling like you'll get cheated on just because the person you're with is attractive is pretty stupid. Ugly and out of shape people cheat all the time.

Ofc its stupid, if anything ugly people are more likely to cheat, if presented with the chance.
