as for SCAR hate, the appearance of the stock is more noticeable when you're looking at a picture of it. when youre holding it in your hands its much less apparent. what is apparent is the fact the rifle is so light and ergonomic. and the recoil on the 17 is minimal, very controllable.
I consider the SCAR17 to be the very best semi auto rifle money can buy right now.
