As a kid I put on a pair of pants that somehow a wood scorpion got inside of and stung my right leg like 4 times.... Nearly passed out from the pain. Thought I was gona die, thankfully they aren't poisonous tho just excruciating pain.

A buddy of mine had a dye grinder kick back on him that had no safety trigger on it (cheap harbor freight crap) ended up completely cutting his entire bicep in half down the bone.... Looked so gnarly, ended up battling infections for months after to make it even worse.

touching the hot barrel of a m240 . getting my finger caught between bicycle gears. I've also had some pretty bad cramps in my ass. ass cramps are so painful. Melted plastic on the skin also hurts

If we talk about something at that moment (not something for long) when i was a kid I broke my arm, and the doctor instead of taking me for surgery
he put my arm back to the place (about 180 degrees) without anesthesia, would not do it again, but he saved me surgery tho

Waking up from a major knee surgery where they cut off my ligaments, realigned my kneecap, and put things back together to prevent recurring knee disclocations.

Found out I have a rare genetic mutation where Morphine still drugs the hell out of me, but doesn't do anything to block the pain receptors.

Took a long time full of excruciating pain and useless injections until they finally believed me that it wasn't doing chit and they changed the med, instant relief.

Also... nerve of one of my teeth started dying at about 9pm one night due to a cavity. The nerve pain was absolutely excruciating and there was no dentist who could see me until the next morning.

No amount of pain med could touch the pain, got into an emergency dental apt about 12 hours later the next morning after being up all night on the verge of tears. Would have been less painful to go to the garage, grab pliers, and rip the tooth out.

Compound fracture to my hand in Mexico, and the bones were very misaligned, had to go to Mexican hospital. They "set" the bone by literally grabbing my hand and twisting it around, sounded like someone walking on bubble wrap. I passed out and they realized they forgot to give me pain meds prior.

My best friend lost half of one of his ring fingers as a little kid cause he stuck it in the spokes of an exercise bike.

What's crazy is I never noticed it until we'd been friends for like 10 years.

Buddy of mine got caught in a drive bye and passenger pulled out a shot gun and my friend put his hand out to push the barrel away from him and got shot in the hand lost a couple fingers and a big chunk of his thigh. Crazy stuff lol

lol reminds me when i broke my wrist as a kid. went to the hospital and the doc set the bone with no type of pain killer or anything but when he did it he was just a little bit off where it was set.
had to go back a few weeks later to have broken and reset.

had to have surgery for cancer in i think it was 2013. i TOLD the doc before hand, i do not want any opiate based pain killers because they do NOT work on me.
i woke up from surgery got home an hour later, had someone get my prescription and i find out its oxy codone. i take 2 full pills and of course as i knew they did nothing.
couldnt walk with out limping for about 3-4 days.

1) passed 2 giant kidney stones without knowing wtf was happening to me. Initially thought I pulled a back muscle but then I got a fever and felt like I was dying with an unbearable radiating pain in my lower extremeties. Could not pee though my bladder felt like it was about to explode. Did not go to the hospital. Chit was cray.

2) collapsed lung. felt like I was undergoing cardiac arrest. hngggggggggg.jpeg guy. That was me. Turns out my left lung had collapsed and I only had around 30% capacity left. Waited much longer and I would have rip'd.

You're not wrong; doesn't make much for story time though.

Gut pain and tooth pain are bad. Never had a kidney stone or pancreatitis, but have heard those are near the tip top.

Have stepped on nails, had gashes that needed stitches, burns including a motorcycle manifold, couple of concussions, various insect bites & stings, broken bones (3 toes at once was one), sprains, appendix nearly ruptured (was taken to ER by parents after I said "I'm dying."), had a kid, and surgical procedure w/no anesthesia or pain killer.

I think the worst was re-injuring a knee that I had just been to the hospital about the night before. Everything went white and I came to screaming.

Chronic 24/7 physical pain. Everyone here should consider themselves pretty lucky, that most extreme pains don't last too long. Chronic constant pain however, can lead to emotional, mental, suicide, etc. It's not pretty. Doesn't even have to be too strong a pain, but dealing with it everyday for months and years eventually gets to people.
