Agree. Bet the woman in the story is one of those hard ass chola/Latina biches who loves pretty little white girls like Michelle. Hoping she confronts Michelle in the women's locker room after she discovers Michelle ratted her out to the boss, then Latina chick asserts her dominance and she and Michelle give in to their lesbian desires.

He was literally able to hire this girl because of how much money I bring into the company. We have like 80 regularly weekly customers and 15 large projects going on at any given time. I’m the only one that does any administration work.

So I was an accountant, bill collector, personal assistant, data entry person, customer service dept, pretty much every job that takes place in an office was my job. Even with two people everything isn’t getting done and I was expected to personally get everything done. Yes I got overwhelmed and eventually froze up, which is why- when he hired this person he should have hired her as my assistant.

Also- these new procedures and things that need to be implemented are things that need to be created by me, and then get a team of 10 on board with all the changes, and then execute. All while doing the above.
So, when you became overwhelmed by doing your job alone (it does sound overwhelming tbf) you froze up and your boss reaponded by hiring someone to be your equal.

Now you have a new set of problems and, again, you are not addressing them proactively and are even considering backing down from your employment altogether rather than be an active and vocal part in fixing the problem.

Am I reading this right? Because it sounds like this problem will follow you to another job...

Okay. I see.

So to sum everything up - the only reason why this chick is getting on your nerves so much is because you subconsciously see her as a threat to this very weird relationship you have with your boss. The truth is, this other chick sounds like a go-getter. She's there to progress. She's going to do some things better than you - not to mention that she brings an outside perspective to the way things have always been done at your workplace.

SHE is actually healthy for the company. All organizations should do this from time to time to better themselves.

Everything you wrote here is again a reflection of your personal insecurities, and really do not have anything to do with the chick performing better than you (probably).

This is the problem, the things she is doing aren’t meant to be helpful. The other day I was sending out an email. It was phrased like this “ (boss) told (girl) and me that we could... “ girl I work with then told me that it should be “(girl) and (I)” I said no, this is correct the way I wrote it.. she insisted that I was wrong. For one she should have been focusing on her own ****, and for two you shouldn’t question someone that has been at a job much longer than you. I don’t feel like I need to explain common sense to her. I was going to ignore until she had her own workload.

I can’t think of an adjective to describe what she is doing but I’m sure she’s well aware of it. I want to say that she’s trying to assert dominance or something. I work very hard for the company and she would have to literally live in the office to come anywhere close to how much I do for the place I work.

Na she's Fcking her boss and expected to not work hard. Then boss hires a woman to basically do all her work. This leads to girl stealing ops bosses attention. Which led to this jealousy.

I think you guys are going in a bit too dry...not to WK. She said she did a LOT of work, and has really put a ton of effort into this company. It's not the picture you guys are painting of her being lazy and phuckin the boss. I still think you need to switch jobs Michelle. That way you can keep your personal life separate from professional life.

lol damn you read OP like a book and broke it down very simply. Michelle feels ownership towards her boss and secretly is still down to get with him but this new chick is threatening her fantasy and stealing her job and dare I say doing it better than her.

I think you went about it the wrong way. The one time I had a conflict/hostile relationship with a coworker. I approached her individually and brought up that I noticed XYZ, I want us to have a better work relationship, that it is unproductive to go on without addressing this, and what can I do to make her more comfortable working with me. It diffused the situation bc I did not accuse her of being a bitch, instead it’s about both of us needing to change how we communicate to make life a little easier for everyone.

I think when it comes to repeated work conflict, this is one of the only ways to make it better. Most people don’t tend to keep on being nasty when you straight up nicely ask them how you can help them change the attitude. Going to your boss to complain about it isn’t the way to go.
They said she's gone too far this time

That's a very mature way of dealing with it. Most sloots would just give each other the evil eye and backstab until one left. Your approach won't work on sociopaths though. Eventually, you will run into that one person who just wants to make your life a living hell.

Let me get this straight. OP is sucking her boss' dink, boss hires another girl who could potentially be hotter/sexier, OP is mad about the whole situation. Sounds like emotions are running high in the workplace and it won't end well. I'd venture to guess that the boss wants to weasel his way into a 3 way relationship with you 2 ladies. Assuming he's an alpha male.

The numbers literally went up the same month that I started, I was the only person that worked in the office. Obviously everyone contributes to a company but the numbers went up because I was the one in the office.. you can literally see the changes in revenue from the day I started

I’m on call 24/7 - I have customers that call me and yell at me, text me at all hours. I help out on weekends with the physical work. My boss isn’t stupid- if I didn’t contribute to the company the way I do, he would fire me. Whatever our relationship is, it wouldn’t come before his ability to take care of him and his family.
